There are plenty of ways to use an iPhone from abroad like the USA - look up the Internet for Unlocking and Jailbreaking whereby you "might" your claim under guarantee. Check the internet!

Blackberry doesn't have the apple app store so it can't compete. Really no phone out there can compete with the iPhone just because of the HUGE app store.

The app store is huge, yes, with nearly 50,000 applications available. However, most of them are not free. Apps are what make the iPhone fun, but you don't really need so many apps. The only application I have on my phone is iStock Manager, which is a free application from Ameritrade.
