Hey, if anyone's actually following this thread...guys, this is the producer/director of the video here. Life got in the way, and this doco got put on the backburner for ever. The last 18 months saw me overseas and without funding, the doco lay dorment. The last two weeks i've been back and working and am CLOSE. Will have to show non-zero records and jamie, but a doco IS going to get made. More details to come. Tell you...maybe end of Jan 2010? 62 minute cut at the moment...
I hope this actually gets made, aswell as the live stuff that was recorded at the Factory a while back.
I'd heard that he came from a family of Jehovah's witnesses, i didn't realise he was still carrying the Watchtower around though.
As for Somnambulist Homesick Blues, I wouldn't bother wasting time looking for it in record stores, just keep an eye on ebay. I got a copy for $20 a few years ago, they still come up fairly regularly. I myself am still looking for Tapdancing on the Titanic..
I got Homesick Blues a few months back for $30 on Ebay. Tapdancing on the Titanic sold last week for $58. If Double Yellow Tarred comes up it normally ends at almost $100. Shows that maybe there are more fans of the band now that there was in the 90's. In 2006 I scored a mint copy of the original Murmur label Fear Of Girls at Cash Converters for $6... BEST... DAY... EVER!! Cash Converters, like, who throws that album away like that???
@windmil080680 I remember bidding on ebay a few years ago for a copy of Truck by Big Heavy Stuff. When it got to $140 I gave up.. Got it for $70 a bit later on, then another copy for $5 at the Glebe record fair!
I'm only 24, but I'm not sure what 'inbox me' means, but I assume if I send you a message I may be able to get my hands on your little beauty there... Any word on the live CD?
Those 6 comments never used to have thumbs down.. who knows..
But hey, doesn't this doco look fantastic! And while i'm here, do any fellow BBK fans know where to score an old copy of Somnambulist Homesick Blues? It's the only cd i haven't found yet and as you may know, these guy's older cd's are rare as rocking horse shit. Thanks :)
Yep, is there anyway of getting a copy of this? BBK are Australia's best band consistently over the past 20 years...

If you want a DVD copy, please 'inbox me' (as the kids say).
