  • This played in Los Angeles tonight. What a revelation! The direction made this the most amazing production I've ever seen. It actually heightened the dramatic narrative. The singing was glorious and the acting heart-breakingly authentic...and smirky...and irreverent...and gritty. I can't stop. This is the last Don Giovanni I want to see. I only want to listen from now on and replay this performance in my head. I gasped all the way home. Bravi, et grazie.
