@SuperApple1121 The story is about how time has gone by and what have mankind has done during history. the elevator 'helps' to give us a different POV in third person. It's very different perspective when you're (for example) in the battle and looking at the battle. Why does the elevator keeps on moving upward? It sybolizes that's how life goes; just keep on moving forward/ upward.You can't turn back time and all you can do is look at what mankind has done throughout the years. Hope it helps :)
