I did not find this version on CD when I was in Inverness last month I found a CD with Amazing Grace on bagpipes at the Elan Donan Castle but nothing like this I found another cd in Kyle of Lochaish(sorry if I mispelled that) but this wasnt on it I got some fine Scotish music there though fun to listen to

Not Scottish but all my life have always enjoyed the Pipes, Husband was in the 48th Highlanders 1st Canadian Highland Brigade in the 50's. This version of Amazing Grace is so haunting and beautiful.
Back 10 years ago I went to the Higland games in a little town just about an hour east of my little town here in Ontatio I watched it with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and her mom there was a mass pipe band playing this same song within that band there was a wee lttle fella he was so small it was cute to see him keep in time with the bigger pipers he got a standing ovation from the crowd very amazing.
This was played as the curtains closed in front of my Father's coffin. The man who took me to my 1st Motherwell game, the man who got me into playing rugby and took me to Murrayfield.

As another American, I agree: they are some of the toughest fighters in the world, the Scots. Yes, the kilt frees the man up, just like the ancient Celtic tribes sometimes went into battle naked to intimidate the enemy (that's free-balling!). Christ! The Romans had to build a nation-wide wall (two walls, really) to keep the crazy fucks away. You mess with a lot like that and you're in a world of pain.

I did not find this version on CD when I was in Inverness last month I found a CD with Amazing Grace on bagpipes at the Elan Donan Castle but nothing like this I found another cd in Kyle of Lochaish(sorry if I mispelled that) but this wasnt on it I got some fine Scotish music there though fun to listen to

Not Scottish but all my life have always enjoyed the Pipes, Husband was in the 48th Highlanders 1st Canadian Highland Brigade in the 50's. This version of Amazing Grace is so haunting and beautiful.

Back 10 years ago I went to the Higland games in a little town just about an hour east of my little town here in Ontatio I watched it with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and her mom there was a mass pipe band playing this same song within that band there was a wee lttle fella he was so small it was cute to see him keep in time with the bigger pipers he got a standing ovation from the crowd very amazing.
