  • He was the first "professional" drag artist I ever saw- in Houston, Texas at The Copa in 1981. I was 20- I'd have sworn it was Ann Margret!

As a makeup artist, I came to meet Ann many years later, as a client. I mentioned Michael Andrews- she LOVED him! They were good friends for years.

  • I loved Michael Androlewicz! I used to eat lunch with him every day in high school and dance with him in St. Louis at Starlight Ballroom. It has taken me years to find him again. I only wish I could have seen and danced with him one last time before he passed in 1989.

  • ANN-MARGRET WOULD BE PROUD- GREAT SONG

  • I remember seeing Michael at the Old Plantation in Dallas back in the mid '70's. I was really sorry to see her leave but she had too much talent not to go to bigger places.

  • I am glad this is posted, I was in the audience and had enjoyed her touring Texas in the 80s.
