  • Nice speed, expected of a wing tsun student. i have 1 question if u may politely answer me, what do u do with your shoulders during the punch and why do you use your shoulders in that way?

  • @kickboxer1391 In this video I'm not doing anything special with my shoulders. I'm just keeping them relaxed. If they were tense, that tension would slow down the punching... if that answer's your question?

  • @Wingtsuninpo i actually meant like are u throwing out your shoulders? rotating them forward? keeping them lock in place?

  • @kickboxer1391 Well I'm keeping them back and down... but mainly it's just relaxed. You hear this all the time with Wing Tsun, but it's really just pushing from the elbow that's making the fist go forward. So it's my upper arm that moves my punch, whatever muscles it takes in the shoulders to do that. Eventually more advanced people can push and pull there arms using just their shoulders, but I'm only just at the beginning of that level, so couldn't tell you much on that.

  • @Wingtsuninpo ahhh thanks for the info. much appreciate it.

  • Uh how did you count... lol I usually do like 1-10 then remember how many 10's i did...but you're too fast for me to count lol

  • @frozenchillpill saving the video from the camera onto my computer it goes through a program where I can click the video along every millisecond, so I could count every single punch in a 10 second time period.

  • very nice
