What galaxy is the best for collecting star bits?

@GCNRulz Melty Monster Star 2 or Green Star 3 (rolling one). You can get thousands within 30 minutes. Die at the end each time to speed things up (no star celebration). Once you hit 999, complete the level and deposit them. Repeat until you've filled the bank. You can get around 110 bits each time (so at least 2 1-ups assuming you get the easy one over the hole in the middle each time).
