Sean, thanks for the additional paraphrases you added to the work. Why NOT? Horowitz had his own ideas. Why not yours too?
Your technical skills are absolutely astounding. I'm in deep envy. I wouldn't mind if you slowed down the middle section just a tad, in order to bring out the melodies. You are so fantastic that I remain speechless.
You've certainly proved that you can play anything. Just think about it...just a tad slower so we can hear the melodies...???
I believe mr Bennett likes to provoke an emotional response from people, even if its negative - hence his alternative way of doing things. I can assure you of this much though: he's capable of such a spectacular dynamic range that some seasoned listeners (and pianists) doubted the authenticity of some of his recordings, until they heard him live, that is...
very original take. i like it, and your additions are fun. you have a good capacity to detect rhythmic patterns and turn them into unexploited inner voices. i notice a good bit of the 1928/1947 recordings here too.
great voicing

Great performance. Bad video quality, but I can hear it perfectly. 5 stars.

why are you being so snarky? has it not dawned on you that the video recorder probably has a volume-leveling circuit?
