  • The Cure were the first band i EVER got in to and have always been one of my all time favourites , and now my idol has covered one of my favourite songs by them... i'm blown away.

  • great cover version

  • Awesome tribute. One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands performed by one of my favourite performers !

  • Wow!

  • Whoa! That synth choir really takes this song up a level.

  • SOOO FUCKING GREAT. I can't stop listening. He's becoming one of my favorite musicians.

  • its like.. Trent Reznor, Tool, with a touch of Pink Floyd..I LOVE IT!

  • Really good!

  • magnificent

  • Was it released on a CD?

  • Was it released on a CD?

  • Hahahahaha, wow, so this is the inspiration behind Puncture Wound. Listen to the openings of each song. Unmistakable.

  • @CanadaGradeEh Not that close, the whole Puncture Wound song is more dramatic and intense wheras A Forest (esp the original) is quieter and evenly paced. Both good songs but not all that similar unless you aren't familiar with both bands.

  • @11rraawwrr i meant the lyrics. Exactly the same hahahaha. They are both a very similar pace, too, even if the sounds in Puncture Wound are a little more tense.

  • SW is my favourite musician. He is awesome. Nuff said.

  • Wow, I have to have this! Steven Wilson! AAAAAHHH!

  • The Cure and Porcupine Tree, my favourite two bands. This is amazing.

  • very good. i love this song, but it's called "a forest",not "the forest"

  • SW *owns* this song now, IMHO. He spins everything into gold...

  • not bad.

  • A cover of "A Forest" from The Cure by Steven Wilson...my two favourites come closer!

  • Just as Nocta and TheFrankbot said ...

Even if the voice is a bit too soft and high pitched for my taste... :)

  • nice one, a cover with real profound sound.... thx

  • i could say that this one manages to deliver the feelings from the original song to much darker and introvert surrounds..excellent as allways!!
