hey i watched ur vid and thereis a few things i wanted you to know. first octavian300 is an idiot!!!! he has no idea what he is talking about. perlite is a good incubating medium. i have found the best thing is to mix peet moss and vermiculite 50 50. it works really good and it is very soft for the eggs. also it is not good at all to put water on a egg it ruins the shell. if it looks bad put inside the incubatorand if its good it will pop out andplump up. everything else looks GREAT!!!!!!
usually wen the egg is just hatched itll hav sum dimples and dried up but it should inflate and become moist soon. if its still dimpled after a few days its not a good egg.

perlite is definantly not a good leopard gecko egg incubating substrate. vermiculite is best. good luck with it. ive got 4 eggs incubating. two are about to hatch :D
also, when do you think i should do the candle thing. I just did it and, nothing. So im thinking im gonna do it in about a week or 2, and if theres nothing im throwing them away :(
Did this egg hatch or not ?

look for a second one they always lay 2eggs
reptil96 2 years ago
Where do they lay them in the wild ? Can you duplicate somewhat of a similar set up for the eggs ?
lizardladyfla 2 years ago
if i am not mistaken they burry the eggs in the ground whereit is warm. when u put the eggs into an incubator it creates that type of enviorment.
