  • Good job. I like the neat potstand. Great idea.

  • Smart thinking. Most of us ufortunetly dint need matchets or big saws, cuz we have no place to use it;/

  • You make some awesome videos Mika!

  • @TheOCAI ghehe I´m dutch I can just buy weed whenever I want, whatcha think about that! :P

  • Good video some of the better info ive seen here.

  • i didnt know ice-t had a white brother? huh...

  • hello

want list your kit want know can send list of here my espiritwild09@aol.com or spiritwild09@hotmail.com

  • Ser ut som ett bra kitt.

  • Mika, do you live in Finland? Asutko Suomessa? I live in Finland, it's the best country=D. Asun Suomessa, paras maa.

  • Are you by any chance Icelandic? I spent some time there in the Autumn, but didn't see many trees ;)

  • thats really a great light weight kit

  • great kit my friend thanks

  • Great little kit, Lovin the cooker/stove, may have to put something together myself.

  • really well thought out and compact! consider adding some water purification tablets, you might not have time to stop and boil water 1 cup at a time. shelter/warmth is a bit lacking. a mini flashlight or mini headlamp could be useful too.

  • Good little kit. I like it. Thanx

  • let us know what you think, how we can improve, and more of what you want to see on our channel for our organization at Oregon Survivalist Group on youtube here

  • You have no medical stuff. Add some antiseptic band aids and antibiotic tablets.

Plus add some fishing kit and duct tape. You have way too much rope. If place is left add a pancho

  • small but very effective. where are you?

  • What is wraped around the top part of the lighter? Is it serving a purpose?

  • @19countryboy71

Looks like "ranger bands". Possibly for use as a fire starter?

  • You have some very nice gear. Thanks for posting this video.

  • Nice Kit Sir well thought out!

  • Nice kit Sir well thought out!

  • How do you make the pot stand? The web site you mentioned doesn't work.

  • @MsSpy @MsSpy Hi! The pot stand is made out of clothes hanger wire, two pieces bent in a square shape then held together with thinner bendable steel wire. Check out the site andersj.se for pictures. press the UK flag for English then in the - Do it yourself go for the - Lättviktskök nr 3. Hope this helps.

    Kind regards, Mika

  • I love your cooking cup set up. It's a no-nonsense kit.

  • Thanks for the lesson on whistle blasts. I knew the 3 were distress=help, but the #1 and #2 were new to me.

I enjoy making and changing and improving kits in my cars.... The kits in my wife and kids cars are bigger than my car kit. If I am with them when the EMP happens I will need a bigger kit

    Thanks

  • Clever idea for the cooking pot , really like it

  • Whoa dude! Drugs may be legal where your from but not in US. thanks anyway.

  • awesome. very cool. thank you from america.

  • i like the cooking kit

  • Your water bottle/cooking cup is ingenious ! Thanks for sharing !

  • great video, but what is the burner you made in the tea light tins, will it boil water

  • @jdisgf8u9dsgv Eh? were do you see drugs?

    Kind regards, Mika

  • @jdisgf8u9dsgv Lol what video did you watch?

  • This is a great concept, relevant to a lot of urban dwellers' options. Recycling, low budget, homemade, all very encouraging. That cup and handle is simple genius - I will be making one!

  • the cup that fits i your bottle its a great idea

  • Subd nice.

    Mika

  • Very cool little kit! And of course, especially in an urban area, a wind-blocker can be easily found from street debris. You could even sub the jigsaw blade for a hacksaw blade if you wanted to. Thank you very much!

  • great kit man and great vids ...cheers from canada eh

  • I like the concept of a kit that is meant to be used whenever you get a chance unlike a survival kit that is for emergency use only. I think that is the plan for this kit, is that correct? Either way it's a nice belt kit especially considering the low price!

  • @swibo6 That is correct. This kit is not a "survival kit" in the meaning of only to be used in emergencies. This kit is for practice and every day wear and tear. I try to keep the cost down or to use things I already have at home on all my bushcrafting gear. In this way I hope to inspire people to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

Take care Jordan and (a late) congratulations to the baby and the shop (business)!

    Mika

  • A lot of great ideas in this video. A lot of great ideas in all of your videos actually...

How do you do that pot stand?

    Kind regards from Gothenburg.

    Bo

  • @BoIwar Thanks Bo!

Checkout, andersj.se in the Tab Gör det själv choose the Lättviktskök nr 3 the first picture on the page will show the pot stand very clearly. The guy running the web site lives on the West coast as well :) and as you might have seen I spend some time there now and then, because my girlfriend comes from Kungälv :)

    Ha det Göttans!

    Mika

  • @MVsBushCraft I ran in to andersj.se a couple of days ago. A lot of nice stuff you can make for yourself. My next little project will be a pepsi stove.

    Regards from Hisingen Island...

    Bo

  • whats the rape whistle for

  • @simplybets Oh! Did not know there existed something called rape whistle.. Well this whistle is from a life jacket and it is there for calling for help in an emergency situation.. As you might know three blasts from a whistle is an international emergency call for help.. 1 blast = Where are you, 2 blasts = I am looking for you/ I am coming to you, 3 blasts = Help.

    / Mika

  • @MVsBushCraft comeon mika blow on that whistle lol

got any guns outside this kit .

  • @simplybets No, we have very restricted laws on guns in Sweden. You either have to be a hunter with a hunters licence and a licence to own a hunting riffle or a member in a sport shooting club so you can apply for a licence to own a handheld gun.

    Cheers!

    Mika

  • Innovative and compact! Nice job!

  • @IHatchetJack Thanks Dusty!

    Cheers!

    Mika

  • Just read through other comments, saw you were in NY, you should let me know the next time you come, we could do some Geocaching.

  • Great to see you, and since I am from NY, I must say I love your hat. My kit is almost complete, so expect some videos of my gear soon.

  • Mika my friend I've missed you all this months. Great video as usual.

  • @EDINBURGSTAR Thanks Joe! I am glad to be back and over the fact that I now have more time to make videos :) Take care my friend!

    Cheers!

    Mika

  • Great idea.I may substitute the folding knife with a multi-tool so the saw is included.

  • Great video Mika, and I really like the low-cost kit you've put together.

  • Great little kit - there must have flown a lot of thoughts into it.

    Tim

  • Good video, Mika!!

  • @dcordry Thanks Dee!

    Cheers!

    Mika

  • so if this if u get lost in a park?

  • @RavenBlaze Mostly this kit is to have something to practice with, but it could also be something you throw in your day pack among the thermo-flask and sandwiches :)

    Kind regards, Mika

  • great idea for those in cities! i want to put one together now.

keep your knife sharp and your powder dry. J.S.

  • @mrsvinarich26 Thanks! I agree to keeping your knife sharp and your powder dry! will save the day.

    Cheers!

    Mika

  • Nice kit, but as a New Yorker, I liked the hat the best.

  • @huguenot67 Thanks! I was wondering if someone would comment the hat :) Visited NYC about six weeks ago and just got out before the snow chaos broke out.

    Take care!

    Mika

  • @MVsBushCraft Glad you missed the snow and escaped to nice, warm Sweden.;-)
