Professional athletes who have visualized training do as well as those who actually train. Why not visualize success, or happiness or wealth! Whether there's a "higher force" at work, or you're simply training your mind to have more confidence, etc... the result will undoubtedly be positive!
You may be getting more oxygen than you're used to! And that's not a bad thing! Deep breathing even without visualization is very good for calming anxiety. Add the visualization to it for more "power"... power to feel however you want!

actually, when i put them down, that weight still was there. i waited a minute or two, and still. almost anything i do adds up on it. <_<
