He has also won top awards at the national Shamisen tournaments for like 4 years in a row, has been the subject of three major documentaries, including two on NHK tv Japan and one that was released in theaters. Not to mention the fact that he releases his albums on EMI Japan and does all this without having sex with anyone but his wife!
