  • Remember these men and women as they are your friends, neighbours, countrymen, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters.Red friday it is then.

  • I was a brit soldier. Saw the Canadian guys in action. They were brilliant.

  • Wow thats pretty screwy with your VP but meh

Anyway since its remembrance day tomorrow

Thanks man I know your in the army and thanks to anyone else who is in the military and is reading this

  • Best of luck to the Canadian Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors, and also to the American...

    Proud to be American! ORAHH!

  • Thanks for the video - my son just enlisted

  • You should be so proud of your son :) the military life really is the best you can ask for. He will be respected by so many :)

  • Kevin, be proud, proud that you support our troops and proud that you did an awesome job. The fact that your VP didn't want to show soldeirs with guns, well uh, never mind.

My nephew is in Afghanistan right now with the Royal Canadian Dragoons. I hope he comes home safe.

  • like honestly, i may not be canadian, or proud of its history, but theyre keeping people safe damnit. putting their lives at risk so people could enjoy another tomorow. but what i dont like is that people like endfacism are being kept safe hey mike??? lol.

  • Yea man, I can't believe that someone would say that. No matter your beliefs. I personally don't support the war, but I support the troops who sacrificed their lives so that some where, freedom can reign.

  • thast for the endfacism guy who wants to organize his own red friday

  • Check this shit out. It was a Canadian who gave you the right to live here and gave you the rigts and freedoms and gave you all the benifits that a normal Canadian usually has to work hard for. So if your going to dis Canada, then think about who gave you the right to live and stay here ENDFASCISM. If you dis Canada and support enemy activities, then you are not a Canadian and never will be ENDFASCISM

  • Way to say it man....

    Proud To Be Canadian

  • Just in case anyone didn't get what I was saying, I suport Canadian and American soldiers. Its people like ENDFASCISM that are the idiots and support the enemy. I'm not sure why my other comment got a thumbs down, unless the idividual supports ENDFASCISM's idea

  • know one would**

  • very nice video..and wow ENDFASCISM really like really..i dont know how u sleep at night by saying that shit...u can go die for all i care and actually know would...respect for all the troops over sea..ill be going over there soon:)....never call ur self a canadian ENDFASCISM ur just a homo thats sits at a computer and plays with him having no life...u couldnt do what these guys do and u wouldnt have the balls to..so shut ur month...

    CANADA ROCKS!!!!!!!

  • other than that guy pissing me off....this video was done amazingly well and a great tribute to our soldiers. Well done.

  • and one more thing: "If you wont stand behind our troops then stand in front of them!"

  • ENDFACISM. shut the fuk up because if it werent for these soldiers protecting as many civilians as they can protect, we wouldnt have so much respect from them. I may not be a big fan of Canada but i have the utmost respect for them and what they decide to do. If you were smart enough youd realize that the civilians killed are not by our fault. We are over there to keep the war happening there not here. Otherwise you wouldve been dead by now.

  • Wow, i'm amazed at some of the comments i read on this video. First off, the military is trying to help, and i say trying, to help the Iraqi and Afghan people. There are accidents but what war has there not been accidents? And secondly, the civilians would be a lot worse off if we weren't there helping them. The Al'qaeda is coming into those countries hindering our efforts and killing innocent people everyday, more so than the military.

  • P.S. - your cousin died for lies and will never be remembered as a hero. he fought for a corrupt US president who ordered the unprovoked attack of Aghanistan and an occupation of its people. his life was a tragedy. the military should be disbanded so that it cant be used for aggression ever again.

  • listen you dumb fucking hippie.NOONE here on this fourm cares what you have to say.

so do us all a favour, and fuck off and go protest on the highway.

your a fucking loser man. go grow some balls you bitch

  • You are an absolute moran. Sorry for my bluntness but your ignorance surpasses that of the United States current president. Canadian soldiers are risking their lives so that scum like yourself, can wake up every morning and not have to worry about a terrorist attack. If you were aware of what the Canadian troops mission was in Afghanistan I believe that you would have thought twice about your comments. The objective of the Canadian soldiers was to build infrastructure within Afghanistan

  • so that the innocent civilians would be able to live peacefully. Obviously civilian casualties are going to amount. That happens in any effort, what ever the intentions are. The government has to step in at some point and denounce terrorism and by the Canadians helping out, they are doing what you can never say you've done. Thats caring for the global community and being proud of representing the red and white

  • canadians have killed hundreds of civilians. we don't have an exact figure because the military keeps them secret from the public (because its evil). The CBC the other night suggested the JTF2 regularly takes part in executions of innocent people during nighttime raids. Face it: soldiers are scum.

  • well the amaircans have been killing them too

  • Err...You're retarded, very few civis have been killed by us compared to the Soviets and the U.S......And we do as much as we can to help them, keep your hippie bullshit off these videos.

  • ENDFASCISM, it looks like you support the enemy, because Afganastan is where most of them are dipshit. If anyone poses a threat then they are taken care of. Canadian soldiers give their lives for our freedom. A freedom of which you'll never have. One more thing ENDFASCISM, its people like you who support the enemy that are killing more innocent people then the two nations combined. If it wasn't for the Canadian soldiers you wouldn't have the freedom of using a computer to type hateful shit.

  • too bad youll be the only one there to play with yourself.

  • i love canada..its like their apart of united states and were apart of them...we so alike and its awsome cause if one us gets attacked well have eachothers backs....which is great

  • Dear Kevin:

I wish to make a few points please:

    1, Great choice in music.

2, Your Rememberance video gets an A+.

3, I do not wish to be disrespectful to an educator but your V.P. is a closed mined fool.

4, Stand tall Kevin...you make me proud.

5, If your V.P. wants to talk to someone who saved innocent life and the end of a military weapon, write me back.

6, I went to Humberside and I hope this V.P. is not there.

Thank you for this post, Fred in Toronto.

  • One more point if I may Kevin. No professional soldier wants military conflict. Military conflict is the result of diplomatic failure.

Canadian soldiers have always paid for the failure of government in blood, while keeping their honour and valour.

    All the best, Fred

  • Not messed up at all.... You done well young fella!! Go Canada, Go ltkkwan and friends.

  • Splended a job well done brought tears to my eyes im in the RCAC and plan on joining the reservests in 2-3 years this really gives me the hope that there are people out there that'll support me when i get there.

  • Sorry, April 2006... oops

  • What a wonderful job you've done!!

I am one of the two women from CFB Petawawa who began the red friday's campaign back in April of 2007 and seeing this is just amazing!! Seeing pictures of all the people who support it is great.

I love watching these kinds of video's. This one was brought to my attention by a friend who happened to see me in some of the pictures.

Keep up the great work, these videos are a real treat to watch and tend to surface many many emotions!!

    Thank you!!!

  • Nice Video, I like the song and how it has all the different people from Canadian idol. Check out some of my vids if you have the chance. I also subscribed to your videos.

  • this is wonderful video! could you tell me what this song is and who sings it?

  • world war 2 was a priority for canadians to fight and it was trully a real sacrifice for the brave men that died. in afganistan the war is far less- other than bravery- and lacks any true justification. politicians and the media glamerizes it and causes the lamen to believe it has merrit. my heart cries out to the families that have lost a loved one over this stupid fight. help end it. support our troops but not our government.

  • ...The one that "lacks any true justification" is Iraq...We are in Afghanistan to help rebuild it from all the bullshit...To help drive out the Taliban and terrorist groups...Make it so Afghanistan isn't a safe haven for terrorists.

  • man i know youre right but.. i can't stomoch the photos of the fallen on either side. way to young to die, just way to young. it hurts man. there just has to be a non violent way. hug a vet.

  • I know it hurts I lost my cousin over there on April 8th this year..Corporal. Aaron E. Williams....But I know he died for a mission he really believed in he volunteered for this tour...They had a spot open and he got it or something...He was with the 2RCR in CFB Gagetown Newbrunswick...Even with all that I will continue to support the mission no matter what...I'm just waiting until I get my turn.

  • the very essence of my soul has been stired. you did no mention of vengance. only a desire to continue to do what youre cousin believed in. setting the people free and making a better world for the meek. salute/salute

  • Well..I can't say I wouldn't like to avenge him I'd love to get the chance I'd would have jumped at the chance to avenge him before but now I'm starting to come to terms with it I guess...I remember WHY he did what he did and how much he believed in our mission in Afghanistan...So I'll join the Infantry like I've wanted to since I was old enough to know what the Army was, I can't say revenge won't be in my heart but I'm not going to let it control my actions and thoughts, Atleast I hope not heh.

  • Quick question, can you explain the pic in the beginning of you I assume in the Cadpat and the gun? Im just honestly curious bud.

Nice video by the way great tribute, In the forces myself and I love to see vids like this, good job.

  • All I can say is thank you! My boyfriend is serving in Afghanistan right now and it's great to see how many people support our troops!

  • Hi Jodie;

I just read your comments and checked your site. I hope your loved one is back home with you and let him know that we all care and respect him.

    Fred in Toronto.

  • can't wait to see it on the big screen

  • Wow...That was one of the best tributes I've seen...5/5
