  • OBLIVION WAS SO GOOD. HOLY FUCK.

  • This music somehow reminds me so much of the music from the original Guild Wars at the beginning. Were the music from Oblivion and Guild Wars composed by the same person?

  • oblvion music > skyrim

  • skyrim is kickass but i got into the series late with oblivion and when i got out of jail this was the first theme that played a magical moment in gaming only topped by leaving vault 101 in fallout

  • This was probably my favorite Elder Scrolls game Morrwind a close seceond. I remember buying a horse and traveling through beautiful scenery and just listening to the amazing music. Excuse me while i go get a new copy of the game to play :).

  • I used to play oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee

  • @Bortaz NOT FUNNY, FUCK YOU FOR STILL USING THIS JOKE. I MAD.

  • I saw a mudcrab the other day....Dreadful creatures...

  • This is the one game I never beat for the sole reason of in game ADD and sidequests. "oh look, a cave, wonder whats inside?" "i wonder whats behind that hill?" "where does this path go?"

  • Is it bad if this is the only song from Oblivion I know of?

Literally, this was the only song that would ever play for me.

  • @amidamaru442 Oblivion had good music... it just wasn't very varied.

  • I remember every once in a while I would just stop and watch the grass sway to the wind when this music was playing.

  • @Vercalos i loved to climb to high places and just check out the scenery knowing i could travel to anywhere I could see.

  • Love this song. I hope Skyrim has an even more expansive, mood entrancing playlist.

  • KING K WUZ HERE 2011

  • Nothing better than listening to this harmonic theme when searching for the next Ayleid ruin or fort to raid!

  • I hope Skyrim has a great ost like Oblivion

  • @Fargyy Jeremy Soule agreed to make songs for SKYRIM. i dont think you need more explanations how epic music will be ?

  • I've fought mudcrabs more fierce then you!

One of my favorite songs from Oblivion.

  • We're always on duty.

  • NOBODY BREAKS THE LAW ON MY WATCH!

  • Iam about to start playing this but i gotta research game breaking bugs so I can avoid them. I think I heard about a vampire glitch or something

  • Stop right there,criminal scum?

  • just heard you cant do character creation at skyrim and i think thats one of the fun parts of the game... noooooooooo :(

  • @hintasglobal what?!?! how do u know?! this is out rageous!! thats WHY i played Oblivion!

  • I loved the whole pirates theme on the waterfront. This song fit that atmosphere perfectly, but they really should've used that ship for more than one quest.

  • *Wonders what would happen if he clicked Dislike*

    Stop right there, criminal scum!

  • @KitsuneWarrior17 I used to make that joke a lot, then I took a Skyrim to the knee.

  • 26 people di-

STOP!! YOU'VE VIOLATED THE LAW! PAY THE COURT A FINE OR SERVE YOUR SENTENCE. YOUR STOLEN GOODS ARE NOW FORFEIT!

  • im afraid to place this game again, cause if i do - i know im going to lose another 200 hours of my life. AND ENJOY IT!

  • 26 mud crabs didn't like it

  • Man, I love Oblivion.

  • 26 don't like this masterpiece... WHY!!??

  • Oh how I loved this song, setting a balance of peace and harmony while wearing full armor and carying a huge sword XD

But really, this song gives me chills!

  • I've done everything there is to do in Oblivion. There isn't any more fun playing it anymore and I know this every time I try to play it again, but there's something unique about playing the game to this song.

  • I can't wait for Skyrim

  • suddenly, the only thing i want to do is to freeze the clock and play all these fantastic games of your (great) VGM music collection until i dont want to play them anymore..

but f*ck it, there's no time. i should go to bed now :/

  • While listening to this song, my computer freezes.....aaaah the memories that came to mind after that ironic occurrence.

  • This game was awesome. I sold my copy but I should try and get another one so I can actually beat it this time.

  • I've been binging on morrowind and im pretty deep in to the game, but i want to play oblivion, if only the people werent so ugly.

  • Great choice! This is my favorite Elder Scrolls song ever!

  • *with contempt*

"Yeah, I've heard of him. Isn't he a soldier or a guardsman in the Imperial City?"

  • @Tekkame Hieronymous Lex LOL

  • This song is simply, amazing.

  • An absolutley wonderful game to be sure, but I was just a tiny bit disappointed seeing as that this game cam e right after that masterpiece known as Morrowind. The story line was simpler, the world was smaller and less in-depth, and the art design was not nearly as unique and interesting. Still, oblivion is one of my favorite games on the PC.

  • @Nitnelav1994 The world was not smaller, Oblivion= 16 square miles, Morrowind= 10 square miles.

  • @TheRitchardgaleHater True, but the oblivion world felt smaller because it was more monotonous. In morrowind you had a ridiculous amounts of different cultures, environments, and other variables. For example, the different houses in Morrowind built buildings differently, making it so that no city truly looked the same. Also, in Morrowind you can go from a swamp to a desert and everything in between incluing a forest of giant mushrooms in between. In oblivion you dont have that variety.

  • I can't even imagine listening to this when you're high.

  • That was excellent for exploring that huge world...

I love Oblivion and I hope Elder Scrolls V is even better!

  • @valadyr2

Skyrim will be better than Oblivion, even better than Morrowind you will see

  • @SleazySanjuro Yes, I think that developers wanted to show how the world can be ephimeral and deciduous because of the oblivion crisis and the emperor's death. It's not a convivial game in my opinion... "there will be blood and death before the end"- Uriel Septim VII

  • BEGINNING PART IS AMAZING, I DIDN'T KNOW IT SOUNDED LIKE THAT

  • It makes me want to play the game again but every time I've tried playing it again I realize that I've been there, done that ten times before :( Oh, the countless hours I've spent playing this game while ditching school.. the memories ;')

  • why this take me back to that fateful fight with that unicorn?

    damn beast!

  • Oh god I've listened to dozens of hours of this playing Oblivion

  • something very cold about this tune (in a good way)

  • I ought to get around to playing this some day, i mean now i have a ps3, i have no excuse *sigh* to many good games these days.

  • My favorite

  • The Morrowind music was better, but that doesn't mean this isn't great too.

  • My god....I love this its so beautiful.....Makes ur mind wonder if u stare at this pic while listening to this.....

  • i can listen to this all day oblivion its been part of my live since it first came out it just amazes me even today i still go to my favorite world a few times a week

  • i could listen to this all day oblivion is just another world i love to wander i really feel i lived there tahnks bethesda

  • damn i'm about to reinstall Oblivion now just to wander around aimlessly...

  • <3 it

  • I hate mud crabs for ruining this song countless times.

  • I played this game for hundreds of hours, and yet I didnt notice this being so brilliant.

I'd HEARD it countless times, but only now do I listen and think "wow... thats great". A bit of a hidden gem I think.

  • This is my favorite track from Oblivion.

  • It could just be me, but I do not really like the controls and way the controls feel, if that's what you mean with gameplay, it always seems forced to me. Collisions with edges and objects are ridiculously good physics and all is good, but it always FEELS like movements are unrealistic. The attack patterns seem truthfull but mostly it's the jumping that bogs it for me, like moving around during a jump ? Huzzah antigrav engines? Doesn't seem right for a game this epic ( Yes I love the game dw)

  • Oblivion had all of the 3 most important factors greatly mastered and awesomely created: gameplay, graphics and music.

When i listen to this music, it is as if nostalgia of another parallel life touched my heart.

  • I loved this game so much more than Fallout 3, it ain't even funny. It was mostly the atmosphere that contributed to that.

  • @calvinsora101 Fallout 3 is Oblivion with guns and a terrible looking environment. It had potential but it wasn't all that great. Morrowind and Oblivion are great. Fallout 3 music was not that memorable either.

  • @sora8711 Precisely, endless miles of boring orange wasteland whereas oblivion has snowy mountains, rolling green plains, a huge forest and a rainforest, coastland etc. The music in oblivion is pristine

  • @sora8711

Do I need to say that Fallout series takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. What did you expect to see, green everywhere? Have you played the other two?

  • @killersithlords I have never played Fallout 1 or 2 but I heard the gameplay is very different than 3. I never said it wasn't a good game but I just prefer Oblivion is all.

  • @sora8711

Yeah very different gameplay, in fact a lot of people disregard Fallout 3 as a Fallout. Fallout 3 was good if it was it's own title but a good Fallout game. But I guess once Bethesda got it's hands it, they had to put the Oblivion style to it.

  • Too bad the game itself was as shallow as Paris Hilton after 10 Jäger shots.

  • ive had oblivion for a little over a week, and it doesnt work anymore :(

  • This makes me want to play Oblivion :D, even though I beat the entire game, somehow I feel I never played it to the point I could have...

  • Oblivion is timeless

  • hmmm morrwin hmm oblivion 3 got better soundtrack ^.^ . oblivion is nice til you play dragon age

  • I disagree. DA:O is a good game, don't get me wrong. But it just didn't give me an open world like the elder scrolls. I want to walk from place to place, and take my sweet time doing it.

  • @SpottopsNL only problem is there was almost no walking in Oblivion. You just quick travel everywhere because there's almost nothing cool to discover along the way. Elder Scrolls, f the graphics next time and give me another epic game like morrowind!!!!

  • @ClockwerkDingo I'm such a nerd that can walk around in the woods of Cyrodiil and never be bored, it's a matter of taste. But I absolutly agree with you. Gameplay of Morrowind, with the graphics of Oblivion (or better). That would be the death of my social life :P

  • @SpottopsNL lol i totally agree i could just sit there for hours lol, goddam beautiful swaying grass, the creaknig boughs of the trees and the wonderful colours lol, im sold

  • @SpottopsNL Yes, but you have got to admit that the story in DA:O was overall; much more immersive and breaktaking than any of the story that Oblivion had to offer. Although, I agree that Oblivion is a much more solid game.

  • truly the best song of the game

  • This song makes me sad for the past, but i love it.

  • God, one of few tracks that did play in Oblivion.

Oh well. It was a fun game indeed. Who knew you could jump really REALLY high even when wearing heavy armor?

    Kudos @ glitchy paintbrushes.

  • great track

  • The music was part of the reason I walked everywhere instead of fast traveling, although I still fast traveled quite a bit, but who hasn't. lol This was a pretty huge game for the awesome graphics it had. One of the best for the 360.

  • Ditto. When this song comes on I never fast-travel or engage in a fight.

  • @streetskater03 I agree and because of all my walking I got my athletics too 100 lol and speed too 100 :P

  • i wish i could go back and just play this game for the first time. I cant believe I was going back and forth about buying this game. So amazing, cant wait for Elder Scrolls V

  • Is there going to be one? That would be SWEET!

  • Hopefully, it hasn't been announced... :( or even confirmed yet.

  • is it possible to buy the soundtrack for this game?

  • If you own the game for PC, just go to C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Music. You can do that for pretty much any PC game (except the really old ones).

  • CAPTIAL!!

  • I's the grey fox!!!

  • This game was a bit... twisted... the adoring fan was annoying XD. Anyhow, it was a great game besides the twistedness of the game. Really not for the feint of heart who gets scared easily.

  • Love the music, one of my favorite games, pretty much everything was good, save for a few things. Hope they won't fuck up part 5.

  • This game would have been great had its leveling system and hero skill focals been abit better... i finished the game on level one lol

  • This music Is made by god, showing how good the world can be without hate .

  • Oblvion's music, while not essentially exciting or catchy, provides some of the best ambiance ever.

  • Good music, yey. I'm surprised Oblivion ended up in here, didn't expect it.

  • Oblivion's beautiful music made its way to SupraDarky's ears. Oblivion's music is amazingly beautiful and paints a landscape all its own.

  • If only I could be a hero in Tamriel and have the music play in my head :P

  • i love this so much its beauitful and awsome i could just fall asleep...... when someone told me to something i said yes but when i went to the forest to go to a cave but i did not go in it i just looked at the beauitful trees and sky untill in turned dark......

  • u know like when ur up and not even thinking of falling asleep??? will this will make u because its peaceful and the music is beauitful!! =)

  • I'm making a vid how to play the refrain melody for guitar players, check my channel soon

  • Just hearing this song makes me want to finish Shivering Isles. It's so peaceful that it actually calms me down a bit even after taking an AP exam. At times, though, it fells "too peaceful", especially after playing the dang game for 2-3 days.

Awesome game, though. Waiting for the Fallout 3 GOTY edition to come out.

  • Is it normal to be able to suppress and control your goosebumps?

  • the only song in this game that I actually like a lot...the others are pretty much meh for me.

  • absolutely great song.Helps me sleep so easily. Its just an awesome song

  • i love this game so much.. after martin turned into akatosh i just went to the forest and stood there listing to the song and look how beauitful it all it

  • amazing scenery coupled with amazing music and storyline.

  • I know this might be commonly said, but this REALLY makes me want to play Oblivion again...

  • Oblivion has a lovely soundtrack, suits the game perfectly. Medieval and classical hand in hand. Great!

  • <3 jeremy soule's music

  • This game was great in every single way except it had one fundamental game breaking flaw. The ability to go 100%camoflauge and basically become immortal against EVERY SINGLE THING IN THE GAME. And you can get full camo 20% into the game. It's kind of silly, enemies (and I mean every single enemy in the game) will just sit there and let you sit there indefinitely and beat them to death. If they removed the ability to get 100% camoflage this game would be truly as good as it deserves to be.

  • If you don't wanna be a god, just don't use the camo.

  • You can become invisible and immortal. You can make potions and hotkey them and you can make invisibility spells obviously you have no idea how great that game is. I didn't beat the story untill about 200hrs in and ive been playing (multiple characters) at least 5-600hrs

  • did most of the guild quests, normal quests, i got umbra and i didnt even meet with Matin, and i stopped playing, i should finish oblivion it is such a beatiful game sometimes it is al the glitch fest and stuff but still

  • its so peaceful it makes u just want to fall asleep

  • as of this writing, I have been up almost 24 hours and I can say first hand that this song is making me want to lay down even though I don't want too, lol :P

  • Proof positive that if done in conjunction with balls-tighteningly fantastic graphics, "ambience" music can fucking WIN.

  • its a song? i thought it was an item =O oh well....lol

  • Soo peaceful justs makes you just want to realax and not do anything but listen to it :P

  • this is a awomse game i just wish i could play it again for some reason it wont play anyone know what i should do? plz tell if u do

  • Go do some nice Quests :)

Or train yourself with some skills you like (Strenght, Magicka, Marksman, Acrobatics or whatever :P)

  • So peaceful i hope they keep that song on the next scrolls

  • best game song ever

  • Then a cougar strikes BUM BUD DE BUM BUM

  • words cannot describe how perfect the song is from 1:15 to 1:36

  • Now that we can compare Oblivion to Fallout 3 I have to say that the world music is much better in Oblivion. Something that I was paying attention to.

  • Yeah oblivion has some of the best game music just soo peaceful damn soo peaceful.

  • Brings back good memories of Summer 06 :)

  • me too:) summer 06 was the best in my life!

  • It really brings that medieval feeling. This music just shows what a masterpiece Oblivion is!

  • wierdly, i still love it :|

  • Screamo is crap sorry dude. =P

  • screamo is even shittier than gangster rap, it ruins every potentially good song :/

  • This song makes the world of Oblivion seens so real. However, when i'm listening to this at home, i feel like beeing in Oblivions World at a rainy day.

  • same here =)

  • this game i believe is the best game to ever play high, omg it is like being in anouther fucking world man its so awsome

  • It's the best score from this game. It did creeps when I first went outside. I've looked arround and just said "whoa" ,without this score it whould not be the same experience :)

  • Blessings of Akatosh upon ye.

  • WHYY WON'T YOUU DIEEE!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome music, but still morrowind's was better, and i just learned it was the same guy

  • Wow, my bro is playing Oblivion as I listen to this song :P

  • Its called Orchestral music. The composer is called jeremy soule, he has a website somewhere on the internet :P

  • This whole game had a beautiful musical score. Unfortunately Bethesda went with liscened songs for the radio stations in Fallout 3,I hope they have some type of original music in it as they rock!

  • They do have some type of original music. Check the fallout 3 site. You can listen to 3 of the tracks for free. It is composed by Inon Zur.

  • Classical?

  • i dont realy like this game it's to open for me

  • then try Call of Duty or Medal of Honor :-P

  • lol i have Cod 4 and medal of honor is fun but there 2 diff types of games oblivion is an rpg cod and moh are shooters personlly rpgs are more enjoyable

  • yea i meant more that Oblivion is a "free-to-go" game and CoD and MoH are rollercoaster-shooters!
