People, dont feel bad for Kane, the reason why Cesar didnt give him a treat or say good boy and pet him is because the dog was unsure. Just his calmness and not pulling on the leash was reward enough for the dog to stay there and realize "hey, Im OKAY!!!" Then he slowly let the dog move forward on his own time. he didnt force him to walk he didnt even pull on the leash! Because like he always says, the only way the dog is going to get confident is by learning to do it himself. Great work!!

how to win a bully? take a punch and dont react emotionly or give him the domination over you.

but if you freaking out all over the place and fail to make the other side feel the emotion you wanted, you make yourself the loser in this fight.

point it out like it or not, you also may deny it but the truth is that humans works exacly the same way even when we dont notice it! if you are calm and not react emotionly, the one that wins in this tense is the stronger in our subconscious even if we dont know it. that is how we "fall inlove from first sight" and we cant say why or how.

Hello guys, my dog is currently 2 years old now and she's a home dog. We never put a collar on her nor walked her with a leash. Occasionally, we would let her out to run around.

We once tried to walk her with a leash, putting the collar on was easy enough.. but the time we connected the leash to the collar, she panicked and forced herself to hide.

What should we do?

@kamotechPH same thing as he did with Kane, stay calm and calmly wait and ignore her until her fit is gone, then let her relax on a loose leash. Once she is relaxed, you can use food to encourage her to move forward. Its like halter-breaking a horse, except its leash training a dog lol. Same concept though. Dont offer food until the mind is relaxed or else the food will be ignored and associated with the negative. Use meat like chicken or hot dogs, or some nice beef jerky dog treats.
