  • can these S40's handle highway speeds, say 70-80 comfortably? thanks.

  • i like how he puts it in gear with the kick stand down and it shuts off so he just goes with it lol (but nice bike i got a 87 savage i wanna bob out )

  • @andrewdoneden lol i caught that too. He puts it in gear and it dies then he hits the kill switch. The bikes are cool natured as hell. Mine takes a min to warm up too.

  • Props for taking something lame & making it cooler than the other side of the pillow. But ya know...there's a kit out there that'll turn one into a cafe racer...

  • hey where did the hard tail from? how many inches is your ape hangers? did you have to extend brake/clutch caable? and where did you get that seat from?

    Thanks,

  • did you have to sand the decals off the tank? Cant get mine off.... Think they got clear coat over them. Nice bike

  • Amazing looking bike.

  • wat size are your zbars?

  • Howdy. I'm really interested in getting a Savage. Have you ever had problems with overheating?

  • @chuck17alpha i have just once and aslo you might want to watch the exhaust hanger on the top end my snaped the bolts out today.

  • That's a sweet Savage. You're number one.

  • i approve!

  • how much did you get your wheels for? im looking for some

  • did you stretch the swingarm? how much did you drop it? i like the height you have yours

  • @shallcallhimtim its lowered like 5 inches becuase of the hard tail struts.

  • I ve got an old savage looking to chop it up a little could you send me some pictures of yours with out the seat I want to see where you started cutting?

  • I like the sound of the Jardine exhaust on your bike! Going to try to talk my friend into putting that on his, Because it sounds sick now with the factory exhaust.

  • ok but only one cylinder nothing beats a twin engine like a yamaha xs 650 or a harley or a indian or a japs cruiser

  • i like how you cut you pipes im ganna try to do the same to mine.

  • @curly212 Correct me if I am wrong but the pipe is not cut, isnt this a Harley Screamin Eagle?

  • oooh love the sound, man!

  • slick bob, always had a soft spot for the 650 sav.

  • That's pretty cool. like the new seat.

  • Simple clean and to the point. Very nice. Well done.

  • Very nice!

  • Awsome build man really liking it! Quick question...how do u like this bike riding wise? Im thinking about buying one just a little skeptical about the single cyclinder power band. Hows the highway cruising? Thanks alot any info would help!

  • Highway cruising is alright. I own a 2007 s40 boulevard which is just suzuki's new fancy name for the savage. If you put a drag pipe on i suggest some kind of baffle whether its only slightly baffled, because I lost about 15mph on the top speed but I am going to put a small baffle just to gain back some of that back pressure! They are awesome to ride over all! very nimble!

  • SICK bobber! Feelin the handle bars and the side ignition

    Awesome bike!

  • @DefineDiseased Savage has the side ignition stock.

  • Nice pinstriping. Put on more!

It would look better with a tiny rear fender or/and a spring saddle.

  • I used to have an '87 ls650 4 speed that I turned into a flat black bobber. I still regret selling that bike. There's one for sale on craigslist in my area (DC/VA/MD) for a grand. Thing looks in nice shape, if I had the $ i'd go buy it tomorrow. Great build, don't do anything to it, it looks perfect. AND LEAVE IT FENDERLESS. Suzuki savages look more brutal when they're completely naked.

  • Where at? Im in baltimore! message me!!!

  • Hello, If you still have this bike come around Feb, I would like to come check it out, Im not that far from you.

  • Hey man this is a very very nice looking bike!! is that the stock seat & tank? you have just opened my eyes on how bad ass these bikes can look. love the blue with blk/chrome, what year is it? oh ya it sounds great, did you just cut the baffle out or added a custom pipe? i woulda went with black pipe wrap but thats just me. *****

  • Heh...Great bike.... Respect from Poland :)

  • pretty cool. that thing is def bobbed!
