  • A real hero indeed... yes..

  • XD i can't stop laughting cause of the way he run and jump as fast as sonic XD

  • it's incredible...i had this game when i was kid and never finished it i think that this is the most weird game in the world

  • whats the sense of this ?

  • They are not gliches they were programed into the game I know I was around that time

  • I AM COMMENT.

  • Wtf just happened? I saw you leave Zelda while she sleeps and you just came back and had the Triforce with you. I'm freaking out man XD

  • I stole this game from my uncle, and I was much better for it

  • In Soviet Russia...TAS Speed runs you.

  • Wouldn't it be awesome if at 5:29 you could just use the Jump power and snag the Triforce? Lmao

  • new name: legend of glitcha :D

  • sorry but that "speedrun" is bullshit :)

  • @Metanio >:(

  • Who does this pointy-eared teleporting motherfucker think he is, Nightcrawler or something?

  • Comment removed

  • at 2:08 i immediately thought of super smash brothers temple of time stage lol

  • The glitch gremlin must have been to your house

  • you are not a real hero

  • you can actually preform this glitch non- tas, but only in the japanese version

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePspdog98 o wait my bad you can actually preform the glitch non tas with either the us or japanese version, but not on an actual console. only on emulators that have an option to allow left+right and up+down. one good example would be fceux, the tasers' preferred choice. no im not trying to advertise the emulator. totally messed up there, sry.

  • It's possible to press left and right at the same time on an NES controller. I have some where it works, some where it doesn't. You just have to really press the hell out of it. Of course it isn't 100% because not every controller is the same and you can't really control the speed because of how much precision it takes, but there you have it.

  • zu doll!

  • how do?

  • (shadow link) Wtf???? O__o

  • Wait. The publication says that no monsters are killed other than the final boss, yet at the very beginning the player kills one monster for 10 EXP. What gives?

  • @TriggerheartExcelica Yes I pointed that out at TASvideos back closer to when it was published and they didn't do anything about it :(

Also the published non-glitched Zelda 2 run has a screenshot from an older run so I guess the old addage is true. Nobody cares about Zelda 2 :)

  • @Inzult I liked it.

  • Every time I watch this, I'm amazed, You totally bent the game to your will!

  • I AM ERROR

  • I have no idea why I just watched this, cause i can't make anything of this.

All I know is that Link got some booty at the end.

  • that was ... interesting - WTF?!

  • lol...and I thought sitting in the corner looked like a cheap way to beat Dark Link. <_<'

  • what the fuck am i watching

  • i wish i understood the mechanics of TAS game play, but oh well. neat video. i'm guessing it has something to do with exploiting the game coding?

  • But in this case i see your playing with an emulator

  • Game genies are fun to play around with lol.

  • @BanAllCheaters no game genies are used. Only ultimate slowdown is used which can be caused by an emulator. In this state new glitches are discovered and abused.

  • i have this same on RockNesX. I then thought "omg, crappy emulator..."

  • Link has the TASforce of Glitch, Bug and Error

  • I can't WAIT to use some glitches!

  • Yea someone replied to something, and called me an idiot while they recognized themself as my entertainment. I had to make a general announcement that it made me laugh when I read the email.

  • @AncientAura I will not call you an idiot. I will just call you pretty ignorant for not understand what a TAS is all about. Its a speed run with one modification the speed of the game is slowed down to frame by frame. Making new glitches appear that where there not before. And some games do not even have glitches in them.

You have been wonderful entertainment to me with your comments though. Hope you make some more interesting ones.

  • Make glitches your bitches!

  • Gee, it's sure it's glitchy around here.

  • link is quite good at parcour

  • idk why everyone keeps calling this game "Legend of Zelda"

  • Well, I can only speak for myself. I just kept the tasvideos naming convention so it would be easy to find for people who wanted to find a stream on youtube. Games are sorted on tasvideos by title I guess, and it was labeled as Legend of Zelda 2 there presumably so it would be side by side with the first game.

  • @Inzult How do you get Link glitched

  • @EpicManasaur because on the actual cartridge it says "Zelda II" on it...

  • Jeez, you just bent the game to your will...

  • seriously LOLing at some anime-watching fella calling others simple-minded.

  • Everyone should go to @AncientAura's amazing channell to see what splendid things he enjoys and spends his time on.

    Seriously.

    You're a sperglord.

  • Apparently the Triforce is consisted of 4 parts - courage, wisdom, power and "screw all this I can teleport around the screen with disregard for everything" from which the last one is in possesion of the elven dude

  • I dont understand how people can have a time on TAS...I mean, Granted this is cool, like programming a robot to do a set of commands each time, and the programming is fun, but do TAS have um, rules? Like you need to get all the items? BEcause If your cheating like this, why not just glitch to the last room and say DONE! and time that, and say u have the record for fastest TAS...I guess im saying theres no reason to put "5:43:47" in the title at all...

  • >why not just glitch to the last room and say DONE!

    Because you can't

  • @Inzult Even I, with little to no programing experience and what little I know about editing memory can tell you with 100% assurance that it is not only possible but it is the goal you seek. You have just not understood it. Much like genetic manipulation, the ultimate goal isn't to cure aids, it is to be immortal, most don't realize the ultimate goal, and they just follow as you are.

    -Neurologist/Microbiologist.

If you truly wish, I can create a TAS that is as such.

  • Go for it. I'd watch it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Inzult

    /watch?v=gr3L597dZFM

  • @AncientAura took me about 2 seconds to find already uploaded, hopefully you can understand the situation.

  • This isn't Zelda 2

  • If your goal was just to show me a random fast tas that otherwise doesn't have anything to do with my movie why didn't you pick /watch?v=Ry2ySc5EeHc

  • ah, so you came here just to let me know i'm a waste of time.

    gotcha.

truly a good use of time.

  • @Inzult well actually I came here to see what the excuse is that TAS people think it is not a waste of time, yet I have not seen one yet.

  • @Inzult Think of it more as, you and this community are lab rats, and I wish to learn more about your menial activities.

  • I've linked to a site in the description. Feel free to read up on the subject. They even have a forum for you to get all youtube commentsy on if you want.

  • @AncientAura

Jesus Christ, you just have no idea what a TAS is. No TAS will ever use cheats or external tools to edit memory. A TAS is purely a string of button inputs to the controller interface. Do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @AncientAura yur dum

  • @AncientAura

    you phail pal

tool assisted speedruns are made to see how fast can a game be completed without using cheats, but taking the advantage of in game glitches, which can be done legitimely, this is for entertainment, not to show skill

  • @MewtwoGenetic Last time I checked tools are defined not just as a program that emulates a humans actions, but that can go beyond it. CE for instance is a tool, so are macros. Im not embarrassing myself at all, Im beyond this sort of entertainment, I wanted to know why other people enjoy it, and so far no answers have been given, except "eim dum" and "I phail pal". I apologize for replying in a post for a 'sport' made for programmers who are apparently all children.Human assisted ftw.

  • @AncientAura

Cool story bro, but like i said, tool assisted speedruns are made for entertaiment of whoever watches them, not to show skill in anyway, if you fail to understand why pushing the game to the limits without using any kind of tool to modify whats already in the game, and why this is entertiment for others, then i suggest you to stop watching this kind of material, not everything will be liked by everybody, i see you are one of those

  • @MewtwoGenetic Yup, I never stop studying inferior minds. TAS entertain you, You entertain me.

  • @AncientAura

    sorry you lose!

you just realized u couldnt beat me in a professional discussion, so what do u do? try to make urself look better by insulting others, sad, so sad, no wonder ur a noob with ZERo subs, no1 likes u pal, go kill urself hahahaha, no wonder u phail to see what a TAS is, u got no brains to know it and have to come and post stupid comments like,¨ uuh aah whats this for? uuahh¨

u shoudld study ur own rat brain, if u have at least that, maybe u have a cure urself (not)

  • @AncientAura I think my favorite part about watching TAS's on YouTube is seeing the people who claim that they have superior minds for somehow being "above" the general audience, while simultaneously talking out of their asses.

  • @AncientAura

    You sir, are an idiot

Stop spamming, nobody cares what youre saying.

youre saying that TAS is like a lab rat and neurologistic shit, get a life

  • @AncientAura hit start." congratulations..." hahah that would be awesome...you know whats more impressive and cool actually playing the game ...im with you at least get all the items..and yeah out side of programming, kinda defeats the purpose of the game.... but whatever....i dont know shit, im just some faceless twat on youtube

  • @AncientAura You need to be punched in the face.

  • Link grew up to lvl 36 and learned teleport!

  • Although I hate Links Shadow, I somehow feel sorry for him...

  • This is a diabolical video that keeps messing with my head.

Argh seriously stop going through waaaaaaaaaaallllsssssss

  • Holy crap, Link's going so fast that the NES can't render stuff ahead fast enough!

  • lol to say the glitch is 'significant' is an understatement. I can see why there would be a TAS without this glitch, wow.

  • ive done it before but could never control where i was going.

  • I AM

    ERROR.

  • its not glitching its tool assisted meaning hes using an emulator

  • @blagevil

dude.... first off you can do this with out TA. and it is glitching. really check out my videos for proof, i have done this before but i was never in control of the direction i was going but YES you can do this with out glitching.

also there is a difference between an emulator and a TAS-emulator.

  • WTF?? why is this game so full of these funny glitches???

  • Wow! That was some major glitchage. Great work Inzult!

  • boring glitch >=(

  • That video was madness.

  • Lol, at the end of the game they just hopped back into bed.... Link was just looking for a way to get laid! :p

  • Is anyone aware of a remix or variation of the final theme music for the game when the curtains come up at the end before the credits, if so please send me a private message. I love that music :D

  • lol, Awesome video =)

    And lol at Miyahon XD

  • one good zelda game, that glitch can help you finish the game which is awesome

  • A fun video my friend. Thanks for posting.

  • WTF!!! 4:15 - 4:25 O_o

  • WTF!!! 0:01 - 5:44 O_o

  • I also love to speedrun a game, but I don't like TAS. It's not my style, but it's very cool though. 5 out of 5 =D!

  • YOU MUST- wait....

  • Kool glitch. Have I known about this It could've save me hours of frustration >=)

  • Inzult probably spend many many hours of frustration making this run =>

  • I spent several frustrating hours a day for months on the part where Link walks through the swamp. The rest was fun though.

  • this was the best zelda game ever made.

  • yes the best!

  • wow this is stupid

  • lolz couldn't you just "glitch" to the last area?

  • I did find out about this glitch back i nthe day, but me and my brother could never really control it like this, we just used it for fun at the town to glitch all the way in the mountain where we got stuck

  • Yeah, there are tons and tons of ways to get yourself stuck from the glitch, which is sort of why this run takes such a round about route. Er. Round about compared to just glitching right to the end, anyway.

  • @Inzult - Watching this reminds me of the pleasure I got from those hours of trying different random codes on my Game Genie. I remember accidentally creating a flying jump code [AAUOLIAL] which was convenient since I hadn't yet figured out how to get the stupid river guard to let me cross the bridge in Sauria (who the hell would've figured out that ya had to go to a certain square in a forest to find some hermit named Bagu? wtf)

  • This was my shit back in the day i didnt know you can do this though.

  • lmao links in a hurry

  • At the end is it links hand or something else zeldas holdin

  • i miss the good ol days!

  • i know 8-bit forever!

  • This was the most confusing crap I've EVAR seen in a game.

  • I'm imagining Ganon watching that little bastard scoot over the land with no regard to the laws of physics and just going "Screw this, the triforce ain't worth this"

  • Lol Link The Hedgehog

  • i always been curious on how hits takes to kill that bird that spites fire in the last level with level 1 of spade

  • I think it's 96

  • the first one is so much better

  • lol in the second town and then in the graveyard 2 seconds later wtf :P

  • so link gets laid at the end....nice!

  • Playing this game scared me as a kid, and it still does now xD

  • What I tried in this game (which I love) is to clear it without raising my attack power. That was pretty fun, but hard in the last areas =p

  • Very interesting to know that this kind of thing allows you to warp to other areas. It makes you wonder how all of that was stored when they compiled the game.

  • Probably all of the areas using the same tileset are connected.

  • good job on this TAS speedrun!

  • I'm only hoping you beat the real game before you did this... You just raped this game. LOL

  • I'm not much of a speedrunner outside of TAS but I've passed this game many many times. I've passed it without dying, done some low level challenges, even tried to beat it on console without killing any bosses using similar glitches. The stopper was getting fast enough in the second last room of the last palace to skip thunderbird. I just didn't have enough patience and trying to jam down left&right on a controller hurts your thumbs, and doesn't work too well without precision.

    Too much info :)

  • I remember the left right glitch on the original NES, but I tried not to do it because I always screwed up with it :(

  • The triforce is in my pants. I have a MAJOR boner from this TAS run.

  • HAXOR lol that's MAJOR glitching

  • wow... nice job!! you are tearing this game appart!!! violent! great run

  • good job idiot. you broke the real stones by jumping on them stupidhead

  • wtf!! was that?

  • ...nice =D

  • lmfao, i've never play LZ2 but this TAS is amazing! i like it sexually.

  • Link went berserk in that fight against Dark Link.. Awesome to watch. If only players were able to fight like that, hah.

    Good TAS. :D

  • wicked, must have taken alot of time to figure out the path

  • I've always been a big fan of TAS's, and this one did not disappoint. Nice job!

  • You can't. After hours of trial and error, you can pull it off, but not on command.

The guy used savestates and slowdowns and such.

  • you have to take apart your controller and try really hard

  • 1. Download NES emulator and this game

    2. Get into a sidescrolling part of the game

    3. Press left and right for a few frames and then let go of one of the keys

    4. Shit bricks

  • lol dont worry he didnt really BREAK the game he used an emulator

  • It was fun to make. I learned a lot about the game's mechanics.

  • Dude, you broke the game - you fucking abused the shit out of it. How the hell do you fly across the screen?

  • How do you slide everywere???

Anyway nice video 5/5 and favorited.

  • This game have a strange behavior of left+right and up+down...

  • hahaah definatly beats my best time :)

  • crazy shit! fuck using tools though but good job
