  • i just got a UMC T-28... lots of fun. I've been takeoff rolls on the roof of my car when there's snow on the ground.

  • Droptanks? Extra batteries?

  • I think the low slow fly-bys are the most fun in my opinion

  • I'm also having trouble with the engine, it sometimes stops after 5 seconds or less. Had one medium crash in the snow. Could that be the reason? How to fix it?

  • awesome flying! Its winter in NY now, and im getting one for Christmas. Is it okay landing in the snow without landing gear? doesnt hurt the foam or electronics? thanks, im worried and youve just given me some consolation =P

  • @electricviolinpownz Do not land it in the snow, it breaks the gear. Fly without the gear, and cut the throttle, and have a glide landing.

  • Had my first flight toaday This thing loops really nice and rolls good too

  • @xxgg

I learned to fly on a 3 ch plane that had throttle, elevator, and aileron. It isnt hard, you just have to give some up elevator for it to turn. For this one, it takes me a long radius to turn with rudder. But this plane is kinda twitchy and might be hard to fly if your new because it is responsive. Just give it slight stick movements and give yourself a large place to do your first couple flights.

  • Can I fly this Micro P51 without the use aileron?

Fly just using the elevator/rudder to learn to fly first. Than once know enough about flying... I can start using the aileron to do more aerobatic stuff?

Reason I am asking is because I though of buying Ultra Micro J3 Cub, than for extra $10, I can get this.

You know what I am trying to say?

    What do you think?

Oh yeah. I am absolute beginner.

  • @xxgg dont get this plane for your first. buy either the j3 cub or the wild hawk, i strongly suggest the wild hawk because it is the most durable plane around.

  • @aircraftalex97 um heres my suggestion get the dynam hawk sky its 99% the same body but has ailerons and a brushless instead a brushed motor which the wild hawk uses

  • @xxgg no the only plane you can get and crash so much as you desire and repair with tape and hot glue is dynams hawk sky it was ailerons too and you can crash as many times as you want to and the motor is also brushless

  • there are some 420mAh lipos for sale on ebay. give you alittle more power and last 3 times longer! they are all i use now!!

  • I see you are a cold flyer also. Little LVC at the end? Still a fun micro though, looking forward to summer ;^) , Nice Flying -M

  • My friend Rick, has had the worst time learning! he has gone through 3 p-51's and now he's trying a sukhoi. i got the hang of it almost imediately. I fly circles around him. enjoy the vids! also check out my Ember w/ lights!

  • you need a better battery. try looking for a 400 mAh lipo. 500 is alittle too heavy. but i get a good 30 minutes of flying at full throttle.

  • do you need a new charger for a larger batt?

  • you can use the battery charger that the parkzone micros come with or make an adapter and use a regular lipo charger. my charger takes about 30 minutes to charge one. the other takes just under an hour with fresh AA batteries.

  • i just flew mine for the first time today. Actually my first rc airplane flight ever. It went well.

  • Nice flying. I just bought one myself. I'm going to mod it with "Old Crow' decals and paint.

  • Ye i know lolJust going to fly shortly to see if the motor is going to run ok now

  • Hey nice flights...(close one on the 3rd flight lanuch though!) better than I did with my bros! I think the small lipo can't take the cold at all!
