I hate my cycle shacks! They are way too loud and have a metallic sound instead of a deep sound. I guess that is why they are cheap to buy! Love the apes though!
I`ve been shopping for pipes for the last 3 weeks for my 09 st. bob...looks like I found them!!!...already ordered,,, great bike, great sound, killer price $175 (cdn) ...
And for the 30 yr old that makes jokes about short people and snaps off to internet porn in mother`s basement covered in buffalo sauce...screw U!!!
Torn ACL and MCL. It was night and there was a basketball on the road (yep I said baskeball). When my front tire hit the bball it was like hitting a large rock. Jerked my handlebar hard and threw me over. To add insutl to injury, the story made the front page of our small town paper. My scoot is my daily driver and I've had several close calls so I was really embarrassed to go down this way. Oh well, I guess we gotta be able to laugh at oursevles. You can see my repaired scoot in my other video.
@tcabello75 I passed a truck and a bucket flew off and hit me...didn't go down but came close to kicking the bucket. LOL Anyways I want to do this to mine. Have you had any issues without changing the computer? How long have you rode it like this?
lucky for me real men come in all shapes and sizes...now anyone who likes to make fun of people knowing they're miles away isn't my definition of a man...where I'm from we call them pussys...you must lead a boring and pathetic life if you have nothing better to do than post bullshit comments on youtube videos...and what's even more pathetic is that you're in your 30's...however, brother if you're ever down Del Rio TX way and would like to discuss the matter further, I'd be more than glad to
Hows the bike now without intake or remaps (whatever they are called now) updates? I ask because I've just ordered cycle shacks for my own 09 Street Bob.
How about a new video with your latest changes to your SB? Can never have too many SB Videos!
Well Dusk, about 3 weeks ago I went down and the bike took some good damage ($7500). The scoot is currently at Javelina Harley in Boerne TX and it'll be a while before I get it back. Prior to accident I had installed an Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and Cobra fuel management along with some hotter spark plugs and wiring from Harley. The bike was running like a champ. However, it always ran well with just the cycle shack slip ons and no other mods. Spark plugs were always clean.
im going to mini apes on mine, though looking at you .. you look very stretched! Im presuming your quite short then? Im 5"11 so im hoping it'll be comfortable
What size are the apes? Are they stock?I'm picking up my new streetbob this week.I'm looking for bigger apes but not sure what size to go for.I'm the same height as you,5' 6''.
stock which is 12 inches...I've read online that you can get away with 14 inches without having to switch out wires and cables...I'll be going to 14 inches soon...don't want to go higher than that though...I ride alot and I don't want my shoulders to ache...
5'6" on a good day...the bike has changed a bit since this video so when I upload a new video maybe you can take a look and tell me what you think...have a good one.
I wanted to know where you got your helmet and gloves from. The helmet looks just like a human head and darned if the gloves don't look like real human hands. Quite the custom job. Just remember when you go down the brains and blood are all to real, but it won't happen to you........
We live and die according to God's time...my passion for the ride might be my path to the afterlife, but I'll let the Man upstairs decide...I'll enjoy the ride my way...and by all means, you enjoy the ride your way...thanks for worrying about my safety...take care, ride safe and God Bless
Your path to ride may not be the path to the after life but a path to a very painful life in the flesh here on Earth, if and when you crash your Harley. God might just tell you when you go to heaven, that he provided you with a helmet, gloves, boots and a jacket to to protect yourself when you ride, but you declined his offer. Remember its not so much how you ride but how others drive around you.
I didn't. I've read up on this and it depends who you are talking to. The best info I've gotten is that slip ons usually aren't enough of a difference to need a remap job. I've had mine on for a while and they've been working great. I checked my spark plugs the other day and they look perfect.
I agree...I think there one of the best buys out there...they may not be the best but considering the price they're hard to beat...great sound and good performance increase as well...plus old school looks...
