  • I dunno why they insisted on letting jpj sing during this tour but they did, i know that he's a huge part of zeppelin but they would have been better served either not playing this song or hiring a female singer, or just not trading versus. I love this song but JPJ truly butchers the versus.

  • Imagine John Paul Jones and Paul mcCartney jamming, it might work out awesome or it'll be shit.

Their both amazing and can play everything!

  • Not their greatest moment

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 8:19 i just laughed my ass off people :D LED ZEPPELIN 4evar

  • Wow, John Paul Jones is just amazing! He really can do everything. Its fucking great!

  • Jones can barely sing cause he is holding the 3 headed instrument against his chest. Of course the man is going to struggle to sing. That's why he is the bass player

  • Best intro ever.

  • Love it when Plant coughs 'Arsenal', the americans have no clue what he's on about :')

  • @The6thSimpson What was he talking about? lol

  • @Boganator4 The football team.

  • 7:30 Uh Jimmy, what exactly... is going on with your hand there...

  • @CreativeChick8 haha reaching for his matches...& cigarette' ;)

  • mmh jimmy page looks so hot with a ciggarette in his mouth

  • 2 peopple mistaken plant for axl rose.

  • Jonesy is the fuckin' genius, but his singing here is awfull. Bonzo makes great drums-line!

  • roberts soo fucking sexi............

  • Okay, what's the song at the end, anyone know? Lol, I love to listen to it, their acoustic songs are amazing.

  • @awesomeguy1346 Going to California (1971)

  • MOST EXCELLENT!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!

  • J.P. Jones is a brilliant rock musician as well as being quite adept at 'classical music, composition. Them Crooked Vultures? One heavy-ass band!

  • Sounds erie when the two sing at the same time.

  • So Joneses Singing Is Lame He Plays Like 1 Million Different Insruments I Think We Can Let His Singing Slide...just Sayin..

  • Stop hating on John Paul Jones! Hes a fucking badass!

  • What do you call this "thing" JPJ is playing in this?

  • Dont hate on Jonesy.

He`s no singer but he did it for the rest of the guys and more important- for us to hear it. It cannot work with Plants vocal only.

  • Great song but only a shadow of the album version with Sandy Denny doing accompanying vocals

  • i love jones but his singing is really bad

  • John Paul Jones sounds, either intoxocated, or bored, or both.

  • @Tony63909 he is nervous and unsure. He was talked into doing this by Plant. I am pretty sure he regrets it too haha. At least, according to Mick Wall's book, which should be taken with a grain of salt.

  • @GranDrJ They should have ommited the song from their set or had Bonham or Page sing with Plant. There is no way that they could be any worse then Jones.

  • @Tony63909 except that Page couldn't sing while playing any instrument. But Bonham...that might have worked out. Still, don't complain about Jonesy!

  • @ACDCaddicted Don't complain about Jonesy? He's a great musician, but he can't sing worth a crap.I had wondered why he wasn't included in the 'Robert Plant Jimmy Page-No Quarter" performance. After listening to him sing, now I know why.

  • bonzo had a nice voice (see bron yr aur stomp live), he should sing that

  • Jones singing is so lame -.-

  • That is Page on mandolin and Jones on the triple-necked acoustic.

  • I love Zep passionately, have spent the last two hours watching live performances, the vocals on this are terrible.

  • wadsworth constant applies

  • Who cry at 8:20??

  • They had JPJ before digital echoes.

  • A crow 8:19

  • If I'm correct here... Robert on lead vocals, JP on mandolin, JPJ on three neck acoustic guitar, JB on tambourine.... and JPJ on Sandy Denny's vocals. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I've been going on 20 years thinking that was the concert line up for Evermore w/o Denny.

  • haha 8:20

  • my soul. forever live LEDZEPPELIN.

  • at 2:54 xD i thot that jonesy was gunna ask robert whats next haha either ways jonesy is awesum here

  • The emotion and craftsmanship put to this show is second to none.

  • This Concert needs to be released commercially...Amazing Concert!

  • Being a fan of Led Zeppelin opens lots of doors to you, I mean I bought a violin bow to play it along with my guitar just like jimmy:) and now i´m buying a mandolin just like John Paul Jones and like Jimmy in this ocasion;)

  • I'm so happy i get to share Robert's birthday,August 20

  • @ 0:46 it looked like Bonzo was naked for a sec. I felt like such a perv :( R.I.P. Bonzo

  • Oh John Paul Jones, you're so cute in this video :D

  • jones sounds like he just got punched in the stomach

  • The next song is Going to California, off the same album.

    youtube video code: v=dXWULGIyGJk

  • This is by far my fav Zeppelin song.

  • @McLovin00028 Yay! Check out Emerson, Lake & Palmer and King Crimson if you haven't already.

  • wtf? is bonzo naked? XD

  • One of my favorite songs by Led Zeppelin

  • JPJ forget read the lirycs XD

  • The girl that sings with Page is the singer of the magics Jefferson Airplane and she do it really good

  • Her name's Grace stick

  • @eldiegodelatierra its not grace slick dude

  • @lionellogan

    Its NICO?

  • @eldiegodelatierra

    her name is Sandy Denny

  • What is the song they start to play at the end Tangerine?

  • "Can we have some monitors on the mandolin please? Otherwise we might be here all night just sittin' here." I love Plant!

  • @mommychristin Sandy Denny.

  • I LOVE this song...

who's the girl that sings with him in the original??? Anybody know?

  • @mommychristin some very lucky chick, i guess

  • lol love the song but this was pretty bad for the most part

  • i like how as soon as Page starts playing it the crowd just roars

  • Good Job Jonsey!

  • Percy's laugh is absolutely precious. And i'm loving how they have Bonzo, who is like, a freaking teddy bear, but a mad rhinocerous drummer. And Pagey, who makes love to his guitar. And then Jonesy who just plays EVERYTHING. <3

  • @tasteofmadness Are you gay?

  • @WoPrulez .... try female.

    :|

  • @tasteofmadness Well in that case I apologize haha. That makes way more sense.

  • @WoPrulez I would usually assume someone talking adoringly about a male band is a girl lmao.

I tend to gush in most of my comments anyway. : )

  • @tasteofmadness that's a nice thought but Page is playing mandolin not guitar here

  • @ih8tbush well he's not ALWAYS playing mandolin man.

  • @tasteofmadness of course! I'm sorry for being a dick! I saw a variation of this show in NYC on Sat. 6/11/77,

keeping in mind we had no world wide web back then to get info...so you never knew what the set list was accept for what was written up in the Rock magazines or by word-of-mouth. This was NOT a song we would have expected to hear...and we certainly never expected to hear JPJ's voice either so Battle for Evermore was somewhat surreal.

  • @ih8tbush Oh no it's alright xDDD

Oh cool I bet it was pretty neat to see everything so raw and unexpected back then. Ugh so jealousss.

  • @tasteofmadness The other weird thing they did was "tease" riffs example..right after opener, they played just the opening riff from The Rover before sick again, same thing with out on the tiles riff before the drum solo. I know fans will read this as heresy but Page was much better during the '95 and '98 shows w/ Plant, but Roseland Ballroom '99 with The Black Crowes was probably his best performance that I attended personally.

  • @tasteofmadness I always manage to annoy the fanatics when I "say" this, but a much better Jimmy Page appeared with Plant in '95 and '98, and better still with The Black Crows in '99, and '00. '77 was NOT is finest hour (as another iconic brit once said).

  • @tasteofmadness ... well add to that, the fact that I was 16 and managed to get served in NYC (where the drinking age was 18 and my buddy and I smoked a "Thai Stick" .I always manage to annoy the fanatics when I "say" this, but a much better Jimmy Page appeared with Plant in '95 and '98, and better still with The Black Crows in '99, and '00. '77 was NOT is finest hour (as another iconic brit once said).

  • @tasteofmadness unfortunately you are incorrect. That is Page on the mandolin & Jones on guitar. Check out other footage of Led Zep on youtube...Page is wearing the dragon shirt in a fantastic guitar solo. I've been watching their videos today & I saw the video prior to this one- that's how I caught it! LOL

  • @lovepoeart Jesus christ that's not what I said. I was making little comments about them and being gushy fangirl. I know who plays what on this song man. I'm not that inexperienced :\

  • @lovepoeart i knew it was him because of his awesome jimmy smile at 7:27

  • Yes it was.

  • Essa é a diferença entre o Led Zeppelin, e bandas que nasceram na mesma epoca. O Led Zep está muito a frente.

  • I thought I knew Zeppelin and liked their music but after marrying perhaps their biggest fan and listening to everything they ever did I now realize just how brilliant they were...absolutely in awe of their talent =)

  • @SherylHow You couldn't have married their biggest fan, because I'm still single, lol. Although I'm maybe their 2nd biggest fan since I put Pink Floyd above Zeppelin in some days, I can't pick a favorite song by either because ALL their songs are faves.

  • One of Zeppelin's finest, hands down.

    Absolutely magical.

  • this song is soo amazing i love how different it is!<3

  • just love it <3 sooo great

  • WATCH

  • JPJ sings the vocals?! First time he sings I think! And talks too!

  • @MarinStoikov

JPJ put on a solo concert around 2000, 2001 where he sings That's the Way and he does a pretty damn good job of it. Come to think of it I think that was in Seattle, too, coincidently.

  • muito bom veio

  • far out

  • Haha yea wa

  • ...Poor Guy,.doesnt say anything for the first 10 years,Now he sings like He's got a pound of Red Man Under His Gums!!!!

  • this is beautiufl, thanks
