Most people use spring or battery. Gas is not that commonly used, because the guns are more expensive to buy. Spring guns, like sniper rifles can be very powerful. I have a Warrior 1 L96 (spring) and it shoots 470 fps with .20 BB's. Airsoft is awsome, due to the high level of realism of the weapons. You should try it.

I have one (The civilian version) It's great IMO, the only problem there is, is that the single fire doesn't shoot sometimes...but I've had it for around 2 months now and it's great for woods play and CQB. The grip's a little wobbly, but it works.

Btw they do come in 5.56x45 as well. Mk16 is the 556 and Mk17 is the 762 and they have a 40mm grenades. :)

JLS were the first to market a SCAR so it isnt a clone. Heard bad stuff about te internals as well. better off getting an SRC XM8 or their G36 series as they are cheaper and more reliable.

cause it's cheeper, fully auto is allowed in competitions and double hair trigger still can't get 1000 rpm and that's a slow airsoft gun, midlevel up hurts more and is more accurate, you use sights unlike paintball where it's spray and pray.

If you look from 2:24 on, you can see that the selector lever is clearly not ambidextrous. That's a pretty big screw up seeing as this feature on the real SCAR is on of the big advantages it has on the AR series. I'm sure CA wouldn't miss that kindof detail

All I can say is CA FOR LIFE. hahaha, I own a CA CQBr, absolutly insane. I have had the CA SCAR on back order since the day it was available on AEX. Honestly I would have waited for the CA version. This gun over all looks sweet, but sounds pretty bad, as in the gears dont sound o too well (may just be low battery, kinda sounds like it). But i mean hey, for 150 thats one hell of a deal. But make a review on the CA SCAR, will be more sturdy, more metal parts, and HOPFULLY no screaming gears.

Wow, that guns gears scream bloody murder while firing... they should also make the stock full metal, Classic Army is making almost all of their guns come stock with full metal bodys. The M15A4 SPR is still my fav. gun. Also, with the Scar I'm worried about range, the barrel looks too short to be very affective at longer ranges. Any thoughts on this anyone?
