Wow! Saw them while at Tufts. They played in the dining hall. Brings back good memories. They should get together with the Stompers....Now it's a party! -Vito

omg decided to google this now. Cant believe all these comments!! I'm listening to Physical Speed right now! Dug out all my old albums and playing them on a Walmart "for show mainly" record player my mom got me two birthdays ago. finally took it out of the box! The girls and I went to see PL everytime they played at the Paradise. They were my fave to see there. Loved Them!!And one of the guys even lived in our neighborhood of Brighton!
I loved this band in the late 70's and early 80's, never missed a local show. They could of gone very far with the right management. I am surprised they never did. Lot's of talent in this band.
Shame on AOR stations throughout America & Billboard Mag for not giving this band enough exposure. They were only huge throughout their native New England & possibly NYC where it seems most bands got lots of airplay. This is good power pop/new wave rock.
Wow.. this song really takes me back. Lived in Boston when this came out. ( 1979?) This band could have gone far with the right management . NICE job with the lights! Thanks for posting this! NOSTALGIA... Now I want to go cruising out by route 128 at night ;)
@suzy3sixes Thanks! My dad got me into Private Lightning and they are a very good band. A CD with their original release songs plus 12 more is available too
I like how he randomized the lights more than he had them before, but dude, when I see that on a Christmas tree... then I will be REALLY impressed! ;-) Search for "color organ. firefly" if you haven't seen it already.
Probably the best one LP band ever, unless it's the Rings.

Loved Prviate Lightning as they used to play Jonathan's in Salem. The chick in the Band was hot. Would've done her then would do her today.
