Very clean playing (and not too much pedal). Beautiful touch in lyrical moments.
Hardly a dramatic approach however: making this sonata sound beautiful makes it rather Mozartian.
At the start he has a scrupulous regard for subtility of Beethoven's phrasing but later some details are strangely lacking:
Difference f sfp fp (16-22)
Stacc (16, 46, 185 & elsewhere)
Cresc (140 but how long should it last, and to what intensity?)
Rests in 200 & 209.
