People are lucky I'm not there to curse up a storm and throw elbows. LET PEOPLE OUT THEN GO IN. Fuckin hate how some NYers are especially during the afternoon rush hour. People wonder why New Yorkers are always angry we deal with this stupidity on the daily.
im sure the guy posted this video not to under estimate the fact that city officials who work for the train sanitation are slacking on the organization of transit passport,....
BUT TO LAUGH AT THESE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE A CAR! LMfuckingAO!
boy am i happy i have my very own ride..it feels sooo good
Everyone making comments here doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about. I remember this day. The 7 was the only line running out of Queens. That's why it's so crowded. If they "wait for the next one" it's going to be just as full.
This is the 7 train at Queensboro Plaza. It's 3 level station with 2 used for the trains which connects N, W and the 7 all going and coming from the city.
This is nothing compared to driving your car into Manhattan which is a nightmare if you don't already have reserved parking which in turn still costs a ridiculous amount per-hour/per-day.
These people are not stupid, they are just trying to survive.
yeah the trains suck here in NYC and this is a PERFECT EXAMPLE. i deal with this all the time.Honestly its makes you want to kill people sometime because they so fuckin stupid!
Conductor in his mind: No one else on the train. Its too damn full! Stand clear of the doors wait for the next train! *closes door and doesnt care if someones arm is out.*
i kno its hot and steamin like a mofo in there.. smellin like musty dicc and fishy pussy... funky ass breath onion underarms and hot ass!!!!! feel bad for the nostrils.. burnin up ur nose hairs lol...............
New york subway is the same like London underground I was in the London underground last year and it was really crowded that people were pushing eachother in the train
O man, I know people were trying to squeeze in but that storm jus totally jacked up the MTA subways especially the 7, and the whole Queens Blvd Line(E,F,G,R,V)
I don't find it too bad most times. It got the 2nd highest rating in recent polls for efficiency, cleanliness etc. They have been doing track work for along time but I think it's a great line with the express and everything. Sometimes it gets real packed
i remember once the seven line wasnt running on this station, we waited (me n my dad) for an N for like 3 hours so many fucking ppl lol. but the wating brought me an r40 :P
its beacuasse the flood i wa there last year for summer i had to take a bus to boy club when i saw two ladies fghtning and they were swearin. yep thth was the best year
Didnt that crazy ass storm affect da whole MTA system that day cuz through 6 hours of hell trying to get to Queens that usually takes 45 mins where i usually at.
@thf415 I wish NYCers could invest but it's up to the NYC MTA.
With all the money in the world, first survey the areas on where/how to build a new rail system. Then deal with all the zoning permissions, geological instabilities, legalities, testings etc etc.
Areas are so tightly packed that it makes it almost impossible to build anything new.
Even rebuilding things is tough without causing a severe halt to the flow of things.
The city needs to use the other boroughs like they use Manhattan.
that was a terrible day...it's possible that i was on that exact train when this happened, but luckily i had a seat and i feel asleep...normally, a lot of people get off at QB Plaza and a few people get on, so it decongests the train a bit...
Blame it on highest-bidder urban planning. In 10 years, every public space, every park, every parking lot, practically every building under 4 stories has been ripped out and replaced with a 30-story apartment block. No subway system could keep pace with such development. I'm sad to say it, but New York anymore has become one giant, hyper-mediatised, ultra-policed midtown clusterf***.
can't wait to get you guys over for the 2012 olympics.
[pictured] any zone1 station between 9-5.
considering we invented the tube you'd think we'd do more to keep it up to a reasonable state of repair when there aren't bombs going off and people getting shot, this is what you can expect.
I wonder how the roosevelt island station fared. It's the deepest stop in the system, 100 feet down. Glad most of NYC's bridges have pedestrian walkways!
