The new version is showing more professionalism in the sound, a more complicated way to play the music, but the older version is played more for the mood, like if they didn't care of being criticized for the simplicity of it. Sometimes, old things make me prouder.

I love their old stuff, but it's good to see that they're able to return to their old classics and make the production better. All these people who think this new Stormblast is bad are morons! The songs are the same (except for the two that they plagurized: the intro to Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen, and Sorgens Kammer). All you haters better recognize!

i personly like the orinal version of this song but somehow the new version makes other song from the orinal sound a bit better imo like dodsferd antikrist and stormblast but they were good to start out with anyway

I didn't discover Dimmu when Death Cult came out, because I was seven years old. I discovered them when In Sorte Diaboli came out in 2007 and that was the last album. But the first song I heared was this one, from Stormblast 1996. So shut up about things you don't understand. Dimmu Borgir is the best band in the whole world, and all the songs are great. So don't say that someones own meaning is wrong.

Honestley I like the redone version of Stormblast better.. Because I have that album and its the first one I heard.. But the original version does have something more pure about it that I like.. And you can actually hear the vocals better.. But still Ill stick with the new Stormblast its a Masterpiece..
