Lol, except that more than half of the extreme metal bands in the 80s and many of the retro bands of today are at least partially influenced by Venom.

Venom was one of the MOST emulated bands... the fun/surf/party thrash acts didn't copy them because they were too frightened by appearing satanic, but the black/death 1st wave mostly all revered Venom.
