there are too many good free ones, like FARR (find and run robot) if you had made it free it would have been much more well known by now, as it is it will die in obscurity.
ok have downloaded a trial. yes your right it only uses 4mb which is the best amongst the alternatives i tried. Keybreeze is also good though and i like the way I can set reminder popup notes and set it for every day week whatever. it also has a sticky note feature
Dash is incredible. I can say I was blown away by its features. Currently I still do not have a credit card but once I'm finally able to buy online I'm sure Dash Command will be one of my first purchases.
have downloaded a few free ones they are impresseive but all used between 4 to 12 mb running so depends - having these handy apps running - well if you hve a few running it all adds up!
You should check for videos about QuickSilver on the mac, and you will see what Dash will be able to do, with some time and plugins. Looks promising---for Windows.
Yeah, Launchy's alright for a free app but to be honest I had stability problems with it on Vista. How can I boost my productivity if Launchy crashes?
I guess you get what you pay for in this case, because Dash does so much more. The other thing is any issues I have had have been addressed almost immediately by the developer.
used launchy and doesn't compare, its little more than a program launcher. theres just things it can't do that dash does out of the box.
and i can add my own stuff easy. made some FFMpeg FLV commands to convert selected files into my cell phone format. plus its a supported product more polished easier to use and i get new plugins every few days.
if you got no money use the free software but since that's not my case i am glad i got dash.
This is so much more than a mere application launcher. The integration with other applications and Windows itself allows me to speed up ALL of my common tasks.

Dash uses around 4mb. The free options don't compare. Dash is like 10 applications in 1. Plus it is faster, easier to use, has user support, etc.

he never mentions (they never do with these utility progs) how much memory it uses, about

Even though I have a mac and no use for this; I like the concept - good luck with it. It's well designed, and elegant.
