If it seems like she's unnatural or acting, it's because she wasn't allowed to really be herself because they wanted a more "dramatic" tv show. At one point, they wanted Tom to say on the show. "Desiree, how are we going to feed our baby?" Tom nor Desiree were happy about that! She's a very good mother. And for an update of her and Tom today, they're not spending large amounts of money and they're not divorced!

I know the first girl in this video and I was the one who actually recorded the home videos, because I'm her brother. The produces of Tyra banks told her to act over dramatic, and even at times had her say things she didn't want to say. While she might have a shopping addiction, it's not as bad as it's portrayed in the show. At one point, they sent her more disposable video recorders and told her to record more because it wasn't dramatic enough.

I've been sober almost 2 years now, and I hate to almost downgrade someone else's suffering, but a shopping addiction is not on the same level as drug addiction. sorry.
