Chopin will love You forever! The "impromptu" when you where 10 years old was just the beginning of a great carreer . The best for You and your family
your performance is very interesting, and i hope you preserve your interest in the work. However I would like to point out several things; first while your slow section is very nice, and the "slow" tempo is not out of character of the work, you change tempi in the waterfall thing... at first it might seem horrible, but try (in practice, atleast) to hold a tempo. It makes it sound a bit more... honest. Secondly, your technique in the fast sections will be stronger after a break and reviving it.
For someone with less than 6 years of piano lessons, this is just FANTASTIC playing!!! Enzo will someday soon be GREAT!
@marrieter08 - you reek with jealousy and your channel is no longer available on the same day you made your comment on Enzo's playing. Very strange, as if you only registered in YT to slander the kid. Your crab mentality show!
Of course ENZO is not yet in the league of Caces, Tiu and Licad .... each one of them have at least over 25 years of piano behind them and their training is superb. Vienna for Caces, Julliard for Tiu and Curtis for LICAD. Your plainly NUTS comparing Enzo with them. Give him another 4-8 years.
the semi"frolicking" movement of the fingers plus the sort of transcendental effect its having to Mr. Medel was of course impressive, and was able to extinguish the fieriness of this piece to his very own technical prowess, but I must say that when I was watching him live, he would definitely not make it to the field of Caces, Tiu, and Licad, he DOES not have it....................
Extraordinary work, Enzo! This is one of my favorite Chopin pieces and you do a marvelous job with it. I would love to hear you play a Chopin ballade and am looking forward to hearing the rest of your recital...
Enzo, another WOW performance.... I have to say your playing has developed into a very high standard, VERY high...you are even .ALMOST as good as me....NOT QUITE...but almost, LOL.(ofcourse you may never reach that point) *sniffs* :-))) and everytime you jump out of your seat when your playing the louder parts, I can't help but hear "BOING" while Im listening!! .... enjoyed this one immensely Enzo. Well done once again.
I'm the first to comment! A beautiful performance, Enzo! Your double octaves were spot-on and the chorale in all its manifestations was sublime. What a wonderful piece this is. I can remember the first time i heard this on radio - more years ago than I care to remember! Chopin transports us temporarily to a better place!
Love this piece!!! :) Enjoying this a lot!!:)
