  • Good god! Are all of u experts in how to put a baby in a carseat?? Certified. I sure sounds that way!! I brought my baby home in my lap. We drove over 100 miles. It was 1975. Be lucky u even have them. We use to stand up in the car next to our mom while she was driving. We had to ride in the back of the truck with no camper on. Leave the poor woman alone!! Women today have been totally brainwashed no wonder most of them need valium to make it through the day.

  • Third, the nurses in our hospital won't even check you out of the maternity ward until you can demonstrate that you can put the child in the seat properly. No more bloody safety comments. Thank you.

  • Second, we live in Canada. He was born in January. It was 40 degrees below zero. If we didn't have all that "padding"(which was a CSA approved car seat liner made specifically to fit in that seat) his toes and fingers would LITERALLY freeze.

  • Hey IDIOTS, You're missing the point. It was about capturing my son's feeling about the car seat. I'm not interested in your retarded opinions about proper installation of child into the seat. First of all you are wrong. We always put him in properly, you may notice the video was taken IN A HOUSE. The restraints are in the more comfortable position in the video because we're not IN THE CAR YET.

  • By the way Pink Sander it was A BOY.....

  • Maybe.....you people should look at the date on the video...IT WAS A YEAR AGO FOLKS! not to mention the whole point of the video had no bearing on how the child was being restrained...the parents were being cutsy about how the boy was crying....I bet they had LOTS of people giving them advice already.....

  • you do know the chest buckle for the carseat is suppost to be equel with her armpits right? If you were in an accident he could still very well fly out of his seat. Just thought you should know... If you don't believe me go to you local fire department and ask them how to properly strap a child in a safty seat. I hope you take my advice.

  • wow not really a happy baby!!!

  • All that extra padding needs to be removed for him to be correctly restrained.
