  • Loved it! Loved u! Healthy people are always happier:) GodBlessYou Sweetheart :)

  • This is David St. Michael. Hello, Natasha. :)

  • Which blender are you using???

  • I'm going to have to keep my soaked almonds in the fridge. I have a nice apartment but it's lacking the counter space!

  • Looks a bit like Shakira...;)

  • Hi hi! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cooworker lost a lot of weight with it.

  • i can make cheesecake with that!

  • Love your recipes, love your energy-This one looks delicious and I'm going to try it this week!

  • Your recipe is NOT on the website. You never disclose if Probiotics are required or optional to make this.

  • @carnrick they are required

  • urb=herbs. the recipe starts at 1:36 befor that it's ol blah blah blah.

  • You dont have to soak the nuts for 48 hrs just to take the skin off you can blanch them, which means to pour boiling water over them and in 4-5 min you can pop them right out of their skins..but you should stilll soak them after blanching so they can sprout while skinless and be ready for use right after the sprouting is complete...:)

  • @candypalau14 its a raw recipe... meaning no cooking... pouring boiling water over it would not only slightly cook it but also remove some of the nutrients

  • @drewjsph02 ohhhh yeahhhhh....very good point.....sorry :)

  • You look HIGH!

  • There are a million strains of pro-biotic bacteria... which ones are we interested in here?

  • "I do recommend this for NON-raw people." - that's what you said.

Before that you mentioned your father. Your consciousness is defined by your father's ego. It's just a tip. I really appreciate this recipe, but I had to let you know.

  • @wisesakura idiot

  • Is plain almond cheese good to make a vegan cheesecake (as a cashew alternative)?

Or are cashews better for cheesecake?

    Thanks a lot :)

  • why do you take off the skin? I always soak them and then rehydrate then as taught at the raw food institute. Why don't you want the skin?

  • @kayleeguy most ppl take the skin off to make it look like a nice white plain milk cheese....

  • Nice video. Thanks for the tip on the almonds.

  • 24-48 hrs is way too long for soaking. When I make almond milk, I soak them for 3-6 hrs, which is plenty of time. They peel just fine. This recipe looks fabulous, I would love to try it. Looks yummy, thanx for posting!!

  • @mzdeedie agree abot the soaking. will try it too.

  • Do you think if you leave out the herbs, added vanilla and stevia along with the pro-biotic, do you think you could make a vegan cheese cake?

  • I don't peel the skin off my almonds...I don't see why that's necessary and it also takes away a natural feature of the nut...That's a lot of water...I think the strainer and cheese cloth are unnecessary...There's really no need to go through all that trouble...In fact, as for soaking, I made my almond cheese without soaking them and it came out great, though I soak them next time around, mostly because it's easier to blend, especially given that I don't have a Vita-Mix....I love nut cheeses...

  • I've also heard that soaking them allows them to start sprouting which makes them a live food -much more nutritious.

  • @fishandfestival I've heard the soaking allows the nits to start sprouting which will make them a live food - much more nutritious and easier to blend.

  • R...Revolutional

    A...Amazing

    W...Wonderful

  • it's beautiful and so are you ,..

  • How bad could this possibly be with the skin left on the almonds? It seems like a waste of time to peel them off.

  • I made it for the 1st time today!!!!!! I loved it...thanks so much!!!!

  • i love what you do and i bet every one can agree on that :)

  • hi natasha, can I do it without the powder?

  • I made this today and it is delicious. Thank you for the recipe.

  • looks great-

  • is yeast raw?

  • You're professional!

  • I know that the answer is a "no" or "we're still more moral and healthy" but you do realize that plants can absorb containments and parasites that can't be washed off right? Their is a reason why humans cook our food and animals get worms a lot.

  • @KyureLirnglot That's what the immune system is for.

  • @myaiki: First of all parasites are pretty good at dealing with immune systems, second, by containment I'm guess you mean simply germs. But no, what I'm talking about is any pollution that might be around the plants. Plants are even known to absorb radiation, assuming they are near a source, and survive.

The points is saying you might get sick is pointless for arguments against omnivore diets and veg diets.

  • @KyureLirnglot And again, my argument is that is what the immune system is for. Most people who eat a raw food diet are aware of what types of food they eat and where they come from. 80% of my food comes from my own garden. Last time I checked, there were no nuclear power plants in the area, so no, I'm not concerned about radiation poisoning from what I eat. Yeah, you could get sick from eating contaminated raw food, but I know more people who have gotten food poisoning from cooked food.

  • @myaiki: Then your immune system can take care of parasites, radiation, and bacteria? These won't cause to you have a cold either, they can be life threatening.

That rules out radiation by about 90%. Parasites and bacteria sill could be there.

You mean undercooked food that was contaminated. It tends to be bacteria that is killed from cooking food right that makes you sick. Not cooked food, or else everyone who was a vegetarian would be sick. Raw diets also waste more energy.

  • @MOONFACEx2: That's great for you. People have eaten raw meat and a diet consisting of all meat or mostly meat and were fine, even an outsider studying them was fine on the diet. That just means that the extreme ends of diet are, for humans, a valid option if you so choose to eat that way.

Your poop should be harder and should sink, that is the basis behind your diet, less of what you don't need and low fat. Food doesn't impact skin, not even chocolate, that is a misconception.

  • Comment removed

  • @MOONFACEx2: It's actually lactose in milk that you are allergic to, not the milk itself. It's the same for everything though, it tends to be one thing in a certain food or drink, besides peanut oil, that people are allergic to.

Why isn't cooked meat good for you? It can actually lower the fat content if drained, and kills bacteria. The only thing you can say is the chance of carcinogens, but plants have those rather or not you cook them so it's not a real reason.

    Most people think that.

  • @KyureLirnglot I don't know, some people are able to eat a completely raw diet and they're happy with that and some people like myself are happy and satisfied having 80% of raw foods in our diet as well as cooked foods (rice, love rice. damn you mother lol). I guess it's about incorporating more raw foods into our diet( for some reason, i don't like this word).

  • @MOONFACEx2: I'm glad you think your diet is so good, but exercise, low stress, and eating a better omnivore diet can do all those things and more, you don't or didn't need to be a vegan. If you ate fatting food, then healthy food, you would get healthier regardless of if you ate meat or not.

People should eat what they want and not try to conform to a strict diet. Glad you kinda do.

  • @KyureLirnglot But yeah, for me, I would maybe politely suggest veganism ( hey its worth a try lol) and/or unless someone is interested in it, I would discuss it with them and show them some examples of food I eat. And if they're not interested, then that's that, and I leave them alone. I don't think it's right to shove your beliefs or whatever down peoples throats either. I watched your video Militant Vegetarian, yeah...he doesn't seem like a great example to vegans.

  • @MOONFACEx2: That's fine, but the way you are presenting yourself, it comes off as I went vegan, and because of the vegan diet only, I got healthy. People tend not to analyze what they ate before. High fat to law fat is going to work and high calories to low calories is too. I could go from a high cal vegan diet to a low cal omnivore diet and loose weight.

I've seen people with cancer say they had chemo and went vegan and say going vegan cured them. Once you get it, diet won't stop it.

  • Comment removed

  • @MOONFACEx2: That would be my point. You could have changed your diet and not go vegan. For instance you could become a pescatarian, or a fish eater, which studies show to be the healthiest diet in terms of morality rates, veganism is on par with most omnivores.

Ethical, as long as it's your own, is fine, though you really don't save animal lives. Environment is because of industry, not the animals.

  • @KyureLirnglot Oh, and about the cooked meat thing, I meant, in terms of the ph, it's pretty acidic. Meat will test alkaline before digestion but it leaves very acidic residue in the body so, like nearly all animal products, meat is very acid-forming. But then again, so is rice...okay...so I contradicted myself in the healthy statement lmao I guess just adding more alkalizing foods into the diet, in any kind of diet, would keep the ph levels balanced.

  • @MOONFACEx2: It it was, then it would taste sour, which is a sign of acid in something, if you can actually do a taste taste. Things like citrus fruits are a lot worse then milk or meat.

  • @KyureLirnglot And about diet not curing cancer, I wouldn't say it's more of curing but more of preventing and reversing. There's this American entertainer by the name of Tonya Kay, who's a raw foodist, and she said ," raw foods does not cure anything, but the other foods you put in your body cause something". You are right to a certain extent that things like cancer, or high blood pressure won't ever be cured, but it can be prevented and symptoms can be reversed.

  • @MOONFACEx2: Preventing more and reversing is what's know as curing. Diet won't help once you get it and very little before.

Veg foods causes cancer too. So what's the point? Damned if you do, damned if you don't. It really matters little as long as your nutrient levels are fine.

They likely will, it will just take time. And exercise is better to cure all of those, well cancer might not be cured because it's so random.

  • @KyureLirnglot lol Actually citrus fruits are really good for us. Unless you're allergic to citrus fruits(that is terrible-_-).Once it's digested into the body, it creates an alkalizing effect on the body. Whereas meat, when it's uneaten it's alkaline, but once digested into the body, it creates an acidic effect. Not saying you shouldn't have some acidic foods because you don't want your body to be too alkaline. It's just, you don't want to consume too much acidifying foods.

  • @MOONFACEx2: So is meat. However citrus fruit has more acid in them then meat does. So if acid is a problem then most foods that vegans and vegetarians can eat have more. It's enough to wear away our tooth enamel.

So it seems we are back to too much being bad for you, and you will likely have a heart attack before you eat too much meat to make your body acidic enough to harm you. Your blood is a buffer solution.

  • @KyureLirnglot lol you're right about too much being bad for you. Well, anyway, it's been nice having this discussion with you.

  • @MOONFACEx2: Yeah, it's nice having a talk with someone who has a counter opinion then you who isn't bat-shit insane and won't even consider your arguments because it conflicts with their own life experiences, which is usually between 12 - 15.

  • @MOONFACEx2: Onision was a vegetarian, though now he says he's going vegan. He doesn't understand that for a small group of people, usually young, what he does doesn't help his cause nor the image of vegs as a whole.

  • Which kind of probiotic powder to I buy? How much can I expect it to be?

  • You are so helpful! and darling!

  • Herbs has got a letter H at the begining. It's pronounced Herbs not Erbs!

  • LOVE THE RECIPE! which probiotic brand do you use?

  • @cherri7take it back. sry XD

  • Natasha, thank you for all of your awesome videos! I did want to give a warning to some of you who want to try this recipe. I don't know what I did, but I did something wrong, or maybe the almonds went bad, but I gave myself a really bad case of food poisoning with this. I made it and ate it wrapped in organic kale. I suppose it is possible that it was contaminated kale. Anyway, just be careful when you guys try this.

  • looks yummy!.I'm so jealous lol

  • you look sick

  • @sambyon she looks beautiful and healthy to me

  • WOW... so creative :-)

  • awesome! can't wait to try. Could you recommend raw cookbooks? Would love to see your recipes for the crackers you mentioned. Thanks so much! also, could you explain why you add the probiotics?

  • for a good probiotic is soybean paste at the asian store

  • Hey, I have not forgotten you and I do want to have a consult when I know I will not be bothered on my end. I will let you know this week.

This recipe sounds so wonderful and I cannot have milk products which does not bother me at all as I have never liked milk but do like dips and cheese but do not eat them. I am in the process of buying a food dehydrator and your recipe for Kale chips sounds wonderful. Talk to you soon. MsEfish (Cloma Sams)

  • This looks delicious!!!

  • I am going to give this method a shot when i have some down time!

  • is it possible to do this in anyway without the probiotics??

  • this looks like a great recipe! cant wait to try this out soon

  • What a great recipe! I will definitely be making this. Thanks! :)

  • How does the little bit of probiotics that you put into it, do to the almonds? Why is it helpful?
