  • awesome so many rugrates voices

  • such a gay show.

  • Thanks for uploading this. For some strange reason I thought of this show and just had to watch it again.

  • @roidz17 Me too! I still can't figure out why, but this comedy is soo funny! Classic...

  • "Theme and Additional Music by HANS ZIMMER." I had no idea he was behind the music of this show until just now, but I suppose that explains why it's so good.

  • That opening music almost sounds like Gershwin. Love Gershwin.

  • @maskedavenger777 I thought the same thing. I was so excited for Rhapsody in Blue twice!

  • 10:27 Tristan?

  • Is it just me or does Woody Allen have an Australian accent at 21:02?

  • Take your genitalia right back to Australia!

  • @lasaboteuse Best line of the episode, IMO.....lol XD

  • sooo many familiar names in the credits... wow

  • Thank you for putting this up. Great memories of this show.

  • This show was my childhood, thank you so much for posting this!

  • better than the cleveland show

  • They really do need to revive this. :c

  • "Can't one dinner go by where we don't talk about your rotting corpse?!"

  • I love how his hairdresser has the same voice as Lunch Lady Doris!

  • I've only seen that guy in that simpsons episode until today :O This show seems kinda alright, how many episodes were made?

  • @AnnoyingSwedishGuy 23 = 2 seasons. And it was cancelled twice.

  • Remember when it was airing. My kids and I liked to watch it.

  • No wonder this show got cancelled.

  • THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THESE UP.

  • family guy, futurama, beavis and butthead..... the critic. see what i'm getting at?

  • @benkatz80 The smarter the smaller the audience?

  • @VikingHaag lol I actually meant all those shows got uncancelled. I wish the critic would come back :)

  • i remember this show it used to come on wednesday nights like early 90s. i like the show should have lasted longer

  • BEST OPENING EVER!!, AwEsOmE SaUcE DuDe!

  • It's funny how this show applies to video game reviewers nowadays.

'Your job is to rate movies on a scale from good to excellent'.

  • "But I just can't leave, do you get that feeling? Yes, but I live here" best line ever

  • 9:26 Thats the same actress who did the voices of Phil and Lil on Rugrats.

  • @DirectorACL sorry, I mean't 19:26.

  • You, sir, are a gentleman and scholar. And one of the finest people on the internet.

For uploading this, you deserve your own empire.

  • I miss this show

  • 9:15 ... :,D

  • Even when the character doesn't look like Jennifer Lien, she's still smoking hot.....

  • Wow, this show... I'm really impressed. Wish I had watched it sooner.

  • thank you so much for all your videos!

  • I MISS THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH! And the fucking Simpsons are still on the air. I always thought this show was way funnier.... and Duckman... and The Tick... and Futurama (=

  • havent had this many dry laughs in a while, and thats a good thing, what with all the drivel on tv nowadays

  • God...I look fabulous.

  • 3:13 What critic does that? First came the prostitutes, second came the critics to bitch about things to unleash their own pent-up frustrations while simultaneously trying not to appear like the tools they invariably are.

6:22 So you pretty much embraced the stereotype willingly, huh.

6:37 "Aren't they spaced oddly apart?"

7:04 Aw, how cute, the animated show thinks it's a sitcom.

17:05 I like how Simpsons at least tries to earn its way first before overreaching itself.

  • @ZaffireWolf Who are you talking to?

  • rawing? drawing i mean sorry

  • is this show from mtv because the rawing is the same from beavis and butthed ? =)

  • "Son, let me tell you the key to holding onto a woman. You must build from a foundation of trust and understanding. If that doesn't work, tell her you have a tumor. Either way, the key word is growth".

One of the best pieces of advice ever

  • This is hilarious! why is this not on tv, because it's actually witty, smart and funny? too much for the general audience.

  • The artwork on the Valerie character reminds me of Disney style animation. Especially the wide gapped big eyes on her. Didn't Jennifer do voices for Disney? She almost sounds like Charlotte from Charlotte's Web.

  • Pleeeease don't let someone take this away from Youtube. They are so hard to find!!

  • sadly, there actually have been nearly five home alone's (there's four)

  • 20:58 Favorite part of the whole episode, I lol'd

  • I want to see that Arnold shwartznegger film

  • This is the first The critical episode I've ever seen and i loved it! Omg so funny and nice thank you very much for uploading!

  • "I even tried talking like this!"

  • Mr Phillips is played/voiced by Charles Napier - AKA "Murdock" from Rambo: First Blood 2!! :)

  • Hi WeeWee. Still wetting those drawls?

  • Even satan himself would LOVE this angel hair pasta. It's a good buy! And so, good-bye, from Mr. Good Guy, Gene Shalit. *leaves*

  • "You're adopted!"

    "Well, DUH"

  • PATCHES...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I remember watching this with my baby brother on TV. Thanks for posting the memories. THIS IS a great show. I <3 John Lovitz. :)

  • @caketakeshh

indeed it is (provided wikipedia is right :D)

  • @ripplestick07 It is the first, I remember watching this when it debuted --especially Home Alone 5, that was a big gag at the time.

  • I stumbled upon this list: brainz.org/20-best-cartoons-90s/

Had never heard of this show before, guess it didnt go in sweden back in the days.

I wish it had though, cause its fun as hell.

  • Dose anybody else remember watching this show with their parents not getting any of the jokes but loving it anyway? I know I do! Good times. I'm glad I get to watch it again. Yay for youtube! :P

  • I use to watch and love this show when I was younger. I thought the parodies and impressions they did of movies when movie critic Jay Sherman reviewed them was hilarious. Even watching it today on YouTube is a lot of fun and brings back memories of when I use to watch '' The Critic'' for the first time on television when I was younger.

  • @orland0110 i totally hear you

  • @ripplestick07 i think i may love you. one of my favorite shows of all time and now i can listen to at work! cheers mate!

  • @tragic9 you're welcome.

  • Beauty and King Dork

  • What a coincidence I found these here now. I've been feeling some heavy early-90's vibes and have been digging out stuff like Rocko's Modern Life and Batman: The Animated Series again. I could just watch my DVDs of this, but here I am.

  • underrated as fuck

  • Thanks for uploading these...i bought the box set, but I'll still peep em on here....gotta luv that Critic!

  • I love how they don't even attempt to do good impressions of the famous people they mock. It almost seems funnier to me

  • 15:20

Oh no! The Reverend Al Sharpton!

    BLAH BLAH BLAH

    BLAH BLAH BLAH

    BLAH BLAH BLAH

    BLAH BLAH BLAH

    Game Over

  • @Ryuukazi hahaha too funny

  • I would argue that this series was a bit ahead of its time. I hate critics, but I love Jay Sherman.

  • Loooooove this show!

  • That kid sounds like Chuckie from Rugrats!

  • @zookydragon same voice actor

  • @Squishy876 Cool!

  • @zookydragon That's because it is the voice of Chuckie, Christine Cavanaugh. She also voice Dexter if that helps. ( ^^)b

  • this cartoon suffers from many many moments of sheer genius..
