good job man. and to everyone still bashing the g400, fuck you. you're pretty much bashing the 1961 reissue. and youre only bashing it because you compare it to a gibson. that'd be like comparing angus and malcom. you cant. you all might as well point the finger rite in the mirror because epiphone was bought out by gibson in 1957. and the same hands, internal electronics, and finishers who produce gibsons produce epi's. the only diff is a couple of screws and the headstock

I've watched almost 20 of the Epiphone SG reviews on YouTube, and yours is the best without a doubt. You provided vital information and then provided some sound demos without overdoing the distortion, thereby letting us hear the most basic tones of the instrument... which is something I really wanted to hear. I couldn't believe how many YouTube demos skipped the sound demos entirely.

@nikopopolas I would generally agree, as I too am partial to Gibsons. however, for the price mark, The G400 is a solid beginners/"Throwaround" guitar. I mean, 300 ish bucks is pretty nice for a brand new one, let alone you can get one used for 200.

HOWEVER, you can get a used SG standard for like 750 bucks, which isn't too bad compared to 300 new for a G400. It really comes down to what people can afford/how often they play.

Greetings from the UK my friend, Your absolutely right its a great guitar for the money! I had the nice glossy g-400 a few months back and there was a noise that the buckers on it made that I hatted, but the ones on this sound like they don't have it.

So I'm going to get this one now instead, try some Iommi licks, he comes from my neck of the woods actually and Ozzy. ROCK ON!!!!!
