  • I'm not really a fan of Lil Wayne either but How to Hate a Bitch was dat SHIT ma nigga. Or at least T-Pain was tight.

  • Got that Classic Dr Dre shit in the background

  • Bubblegum rap is not rap in my view real people respect real artists. I see wayne slacking and not many new artists are bringin a different image. it sucks now..

  • did you just say the weeknd is copying lil wayne's style

    WAAAT

  • Nice Video

  • holy fucking shit this album blows

  • Rob Snyder from Happy Gilmore ??

  • Nice dick.

  • lol, look at the lil wayne dickriders jumpinn up to defend him.

  • Thumbs up for Cal!

  • the chronic<3

  • Has to be a white boy

  • @863021jjf What's that supposed to mean?

  • Who the hell is this idiot?!!?

Weezy eats haters like u for breakfast!

  • @beigeandy Shut the fuck up, I can't tell if you're serious or not because Lil Wayne fans are such idiots, Lil Wayne is garbage.

  • @The12Jacob im a lil wayne fan but also like kendrick lamar, logic, nas, big krit, elzhi, reks, saigon, grieves, evidence, tech n9ne,apathy,kanye west,jay-z,vinnie paz, pharoahe monch, jean grae, royce da 5'9,B.O.B,hassaan mackey and more so i listen to all hip hop but not waka or lil b that is just terrible in every way

  • how dare you compare The Weeknd to the likes of Lil Wayne

  • that bubble gum analogy was amazing, made alot of sense

  • Comment removed

  • his mixtapes are always better than his albums; FACT

  • @myguitardidyermom12 his mixtapes are shit albums are always better

  • Well people who think the album is the best... I guess they're easily impressed!

  • The Carter IV was dope according to my ears.

  • @Juiceish1 then you need to clean out yur ears jk jk jk LMAO

  • @Juiceish1 That's because you're an idiot.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 opinions are opinions, if i think the album's straight then its straight .

  • @huamanJR still not Young Money, more like OVO. Weeknd is not affiliated with YM

  • @hamet1234 i didn't say they were, i said drake was one of their funders.

  • everytime you mentioned a song off the album, i cringed.

  • "yo tha Carter 4, Gucci Mane and Wocka are what's saving hip hop. Real talk" - this statement was found on a "suicide" note next to the cadaver

  • Haha ....

  • TRASH TALK AWAKE

  • How the fuck does The Weeknd have something with Young Money???

  • @hamet1234 Drake sponsored most of the Weeknd stuff meaning he funded them with money so they can release projects.

  • @Dannyboy1588 Literally not one thing you said was correct. He hasn't always sounded like this, go listen to some of his old mixtapes (Da Drought 3 is my personal favorite) and you'll see. He actually used to have talent. He only started to sound like this since the Carter 3 and Drake joined young money a year before. Coincidence? Don't think so.

  • ur to nerdy to review rap just stop u dont get it.....

  • @MrWAD3SON Dude what the fuck Anthony knows more about hip hop and rap than you could ever dream of

  • @MrWAD3SON And you apparently don't get the English language.

  • @MrWAD3SON what's not to get a simple flow for the club is all you need for a party. Netherless, making art is more diffecult and takes time to mold.

  • everything after carter 2 was absolute GARBAGE

  • @blackghost1791 why cause he started changing ??

  • @blackghost1791 Mane if you didn't just hit the nail on the head right there my nigga

  • @blackghost1791 Carter 3 was pretty good at best. lil wayne fell off after all that

  • @CorruptFugitive i admit it had a few songs i liked, but it just fell short in my opinion

  • @blackghost1791 yea carter 2 was fire even a wayne hater has to admit that

  • Lil wayne...well , nothing much to say...another mainstream "hip-pop" release. Americans seem to like that kind of music...i'll stick to hip-hop.

  • @conflict1904 America if I remember is the birth of Hip-Hop thank you very much. Despite the markets and the clubs that need tunes to play everything is well balanced

  • @huamanJR Yes , and the fact that americans are "trashing" a musical culture that was born in their own country , speaks volumes of what goes on people's minds nowadays. When i say "americans" i speak the majority , there will always be some thousands or millions (but few) that don't swallow this "pop" status that radios,tv's and clubs are throwing in.

  • @conflict1904 you don't sound like you enjoy a good time at a party... :( I mean can like the true shyt, but when it comes to parties and stuff that's a whole different story. They are not trashing it, they just not well informed about it as my science teacher would say, they don't have the knowledge or just care-free and enjoy whatever.

  • @huamanJR I like to party as anyone else does (i think everyone does,at least a bit) , i just don't "dig" any thing with a beat...

  • @conflict1904 don't you need a beat for a party look at "One More Time" by Daft Punk hell that for sure has a party beat

  • Lil wayne was shit when he started, somewhere around the middle he got funny and catchy to me...that lasted 4 months at its peak and then he just went outward - My 2 cents

  • I don't understand either, if you like Lil Wayne, then how do you hate the Carter 4? Its the same shit that he's been doing for years

  • funny thing is that lil b, childish gambino, and ofwgkta are miles better than people in ymcmb.

  • dude ... good breakdown of the album but ... thats why i didn't purchase that particular lp , i got the deluxe version itunes style. Honestly it kikks ass , raw uncut and gangsta - i just said that. Ne W@yz , yea its a good album except for nightmares , how to love , how to hate , umm ... other than those , dude its awesome. YmcmB

  • Hey bro =)

i like your reviews alot man, there real cool and you also expose me to new albums i might not have heard of otherwise =)

    KEEP IT UP BRO

  • Tech N9ne killed it. Bun B and Nas Killed it. The other 50 minutes is garbage. Good Review for sure.

  • wtf:L:L carter IV was just under goin platinum in a week so fuck you haters:L:L

  • @1992iest sales doesn't make the music any better, guy. if soulja boy was to make the top of the charts, you would say he's the greatest rapper alive. your arguments are invalid.

  • I like How To Love...

  • Comment removed

  • THIS GUY F***ING ROCKS HE NEEDS AN AWARD

  • I like his singles. his albums as a whole are garbage. like you said its bubble gum.

  • whats with rap "artists" all ways featuring other rappers or pop artists. cant they write their own songs...just sayin

  • @vaichild Originally it was to add to the song, now it is to ensure the song gets play on the radio, or to make upf or the artists incompetence.

  • @vaichild try writing a song in one day, yea i can't its hard.

  • @huamanJR bullshit writing pop songs is easy even with simple theory. i was playing a at a coffee shop and my band were just jamming. and then we just fooled around and made fun of rap music

  • @vaichild Yea shit is easy to take, but try making art and now tell me how hard it can be....can you outplay Roger Waters?, Micheal Jackson?, or The Who? its never easy making it out there, well back then. One more thing to think about, there are almost 7 billion people in the world today there always be one person better then the other, its only a matter of time when they reach the top they notice how far they gone.

  • @huamanJR nice speech but rap music still sucks as a genre.

how dare include the who in the same sentence as a child molester like micheal jackson.

true art? u dont even know what art is. t-pain, lil wayne AND EVERYONE ELSE uses the same pro tools and auto tune too sound the same.

with no lyrical meaning or musical clarity why the fuck would i listen to it?

always 4/4 with a simple ass drum beat. just TURN UP the bass that will make it better...u dont even need talent

  • @vaichild When did i ever say they were art? Throw out the politics and media in every artist, rock stars have done worse too. So are you going to say Beethoven is not art? Johnny B. Goode blows??? Wu-Tang sucks? The Roots who are influence by jazz and rock to create hip hop with real drums and piano along with a saxophone??? Jack White Blows you said???? SMH

Are you saying Jimi Hendrix can't play worth shit?

Clubs and art are two different things that help people stay well-balanced

  • Lil Wayne makes the same ish all the time but just uses different words each time. When he starts rapping about serious stuff that goes on and gets more grammys I'll consider him a great rapper

  • the album was lacking substance nothing about him being a father or is jail time he should have gone into those subject matters

  • Somethin about this guy tells me that he is a fucking expert at sarcasm

  • @antiemo666777 Straight expert..

  • wow i totally agree there's nothing different about wayne now or then he was always trash as far as substance was concerned as a matter of fact he's probably a better rapper now because he doesn't get high sometimes he actually makes sense now just goes to show you people are sheep you get your 15 min of fame and its a wrap the carter 1,2,3, trash but for some reason "real" wayne fans dont like his new shit smh

  • his earlier stuff like the carter 1 and everything before that was actually not bad give those a review and tell me your onpinion.

  • WHat Shirt Is That? CAn I Have It

  • He and The Weeknd have nothing in common. Get. That. Right

  • @theneedledrop I gotta aim this one at you so you know, that was an incredible bubblegum analogy. Incredible. So fitting.

  • Good review !!

  • The Cronic diserves a ten

  • @metaljay18 It hurts me to see The Chronic and Carter IV on the same screen.

  • @MrCommenterguy Yeah it's like looking into the sun pretty much lol how sad but aleast this guy likes dr. dre and hates lil wayne

  • classic Dr Dre in the background there we have have your motherfuckin record company surrounded put down the candy and let the little boy go. good shit vs the garbage he's reviewing

  • I luv the album so u guys can stop h8'n on tunechi

  • Best songs on the album lil wayne wasn't even on haha. Interlude and Outro.

  • Comment removed

  • horrible album. Worst rapper ever

  • @Charvey888 You pretty much summed it up. Lil Wayne WOAT.

  • i wonder how well this dude can rap...

  • @nayzerie Doesn't matter tbh, he knows his music.

  • i never liked him becuase he DOSENT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!

  • Yep, probably the only time I can agree with you lol

the best thing on that album was Tech N9ne

  • So you liked 6 foot 7 foot but you didn't like freaks and geeks because it didn't have a message? what the actual fuck

  • Thumbs up... but only for Cal... only for Cal...

  • Revieeeeeeeeeew Woodkid's IRON EP

    DO IT ANTHONY

  • you look like steve-o

  • check out kanye west , hes genious , my beautiful dark twisted fantasy

  • ....You didn't put the Weeknd in the same category as this guy right? My favorite song off of the entire album (or the deluxe version at least) was The Outro, in which Lil Wayne was not even a part of.

  • I love it, jam out to it with my group.

  • your getting pretty big...js

  • Review the Carter II

  • 3? Hahahaha damn all the other Young Money acts are better than him lol

  • wait you compared lil wayne to the weeknd why???

  • yea.. carter 4 sucked ass

  • Marderbarh.

  • can you explain your rating system?

  • the Carter 2 is a solid album.the Carter 4 just sucks.lil wayne has gone to much commercial.

  • DO IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE - THE MARTYR

    ^^ REAL RAP

  • @FabreezeFlow21 straight up man

  • @youngmarley713 far less than 100 000 in a week or at all even though section 80 was great

  • I haven't listened to the Carter IV since the first time I've heard it. Just not a big Lil Wayne fan anymore, not since Dedication 2.

  • You don't know what you're talking about.

If you think that putting The Chronic in the background gives you some kind of credibility, you're a moron.

  • As a large Lil Wayne fan, I also thought Carter 4 wasn't really great. It did have its moments, 6 Foot 7 Foot is definitely the highlight. But Carter 3 was way, way more consistent and memorable end-to-end.

  • @slushh Wow you really do like lil wayne huh

  • i love the DR. Dre CD in the background

  • @xNickerishx chronic

  • His mixtapes are better then some of his albums. NO CEILINGS AND SORRY 4 THA WAIT ITS GOOD

  • Do you understand Lil B

  • review mac n devin

  • Bottom line...Lil Wayne sucks and always has.

  • @rhcp484 ayo look out for the edgy kid!

  • @JukeboxHeartbreak9 Yeeeah, you know. I walk that edge.

  • You need to listen to things like Tha Drought 2, up to Tha Carter 3. His lyrics have gone downhill, he cant keep a steady topic through any of his songs anymore and his metaphors are just pathetic. His flow has also changed, in Tha Carter IV and Sorry 4 The Wait, his flow is simple and the same through the whole thing, he doesnt switch it up at all.

  • did you review tech n9nes welcome to strangeland?

  • oh yeah eminem is bad, thats why mostly every rapper in the industry says they would never take a shot at him cause nobody can fuck with him, and if someone did take a shot at him that pissed him off, they better pray to god he never hears it

  • i thought tha carter iv was good

  • Childish Gambino's Camp album review(unless you already did it)

  • @GhoztInc9000 He already made a review of Childish Gambino's Camp. Just search "Childish Gambino Camp Review" and you'll find his video as a result.

  • never heard the album...

  • I swallow bubblegum.

  • You hit this one right on the fucking nose. Haha

  • Tech N9ne-Welcome To Strangeland...Do It

  • i disagree with the wayne and drake comparison drake took wayne's whole style and added r&b to it even though lil wayne was heading towards that direction with his autotune still you can mark back to lil wayne and drake's first song together drake wants nothing more but to be like wayne.

  • K-RINO,JEDI MIND,AOTP,IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE!!!

  • The fact that you said the Weeknd has a similar sound to Lil Wayne makes this invalid

  • review Tech N9ne WTSL!!!

  • Nightmares from the Bottom sounds like it would be about really bad diarrhea.

  • Waynes a joke. Being a hater for disliking his rap style is like being a hater for disliking mediocrity

  • Wayne's only famous because Pac and Biggie died. It's almost as if they were the barricade that kept the party crashers out. Tyga? Seriously? Bitch, you are not the shit, I'm sorry. To Anthony's haters: Pick up a KRS-One record. Learn something.

  • the carter is a classic. the rest get obsolete in time REAL weezy fans since his hot boy days know wassup

  • its cool, i too was disappointed with the album at first. after more listen i started to like it. aint gonna call you a hater though, to cliche. just a fucking idiot.

  • @sjbaby1x how is someone a idiot for not liking a album

  • im not a lil wayne fan at all but to say u cant take him serious like have u not heard the drought 3

  • I I think you should shoot yourself albino prick, lil Wayne sold a million copies of this album in a week what does that say ?? You are a idiot get a life.

  • @wogsta313 did you not hear him say bubble gum rapper,,,, thats wat it is and thats why you like it because you dont actualy like real rap music

  • @wogsta313 Kendrick Lamar could sell only 100,000 copies in a week but does that make him a bad rapper? Nooo. You're an idiot, clean the wax out your ears.

  • How does one compare Childish Gambino to lil' Wayne? They sounded alike and thats about it...AND up til a month ago he was a mix tape rapper. I think you should take a listen to Camp

  • I don't get it, people hype yeezy and bash weezy, but they all sound the same to me.

  • @Bhatch2007 They couldn't be more different. Weezy's stuff is uninspired. It's crap. Yeezy takes time to perfect his craft...and especially because of his personality and emotions, it makes his albums that much more enjoyable. Oh well, different tastes for different people, I guess...

  • Billboards #1 album of the year!!!!! <3

  • God bless you, son.

  • He got to the point! ;D

  • Honestly i dont give a flying fuck what people say, if any of my friends listen to him or anything, i listen to him because I enjoy his music, its (usually) clever, it has that touch of humour and his style is different to others. Definitely not his best album and I agree that how to hate was terrible but it had some good songs too. Everyone has a different taste and I'm sure everyone sort anticipates his songs in a different way. If you don't like him don't listen to him and stop talking shit

  • This review should have ended at 0:30, yeah, wid a beautiful smile of anthony !

  • I am undecided

  • Whoa Whoa, childish gambino has talent , he has deep lyrics, dont compare him to lil wayne, just cause he sounds like lil wayne and he's a punch line rapper

  • I hate this motherfucker because he gave beautiful dark twisted fantasy 6/10

I really would love to rub his fucking dickhead against a stonewall and after that i would punch this motherfucker to death

thats how much he is an asshole

  • I remember Howard Stern talking about how ridiculous the use of the word genius has gotten, and seeing Lil Wayne on the cover of magazines like gq and rolling stone being touted as a genius certainly proves that point haha... So, are there any geniuses in mainstream music today?

  • @Dannyboy1588

Agreed. I am fucking tired of Pussy

  • Graduation:)

  • lmao that explanation about the album cover was so funny...but the funny thing is it makes sense....

  • Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was one of the most famous deafblind people in the history.

Weezy compares himself with Helen in this line, because he can’t hear and see evil, like he’s deaf and blind

  • dude stfu the beginnign is annoying talk with your real voice

  • Carter 4 made me appreciate Carter 3 soooo much more

  • lil wayne is at a point in his life that he dont give a shit

    this album is alright 7/10

to the people who think j. cole is the greatest ever

he is not i think he has been rapping about the same things since the mixtapes

friday night light was the best

    t
