really helpful, I was worried about cosplaying Germany with a wig(my mum won't let me bleach my hair, despite the fact that my hair is freakishly thick, strong, and healthy) and this restored my faith in being able to cosplay him!
just a suggestion, a very small crochet hook does exist, it can be used with highlight cap, i have found them as low as $0.89 usd in most beauty supply stores, idk if you want one it just might help you so ya good luck!
How long did it take you to do the entire wig? How many hairs did you ventilate per hole? Was it one hair throughout the entire unit (wig)? I saw the finished result on facebook. It looked nice!!
@Pals4Fashion The ventilating stitching and slicking over all took me about 11 hours (remember this is over a course of about 2 or three days and includes a nearly full hair line and sideburns) At the front of the hair line I did one or two per hole so it seemed like they were coming out of my scalp, but if I did that for all of them it would look really thin and you would see the hairline of the original wig so i did 3 or 4 perhole for a few rows (continued in next comment)
@LAPArchichi (continued from previous comment) then moved on to about 6 or 7. I used seperate wig hairs (trust me, even hairs you think will be long have their size gets cut in half). Thank you!! :D
@LAPArchichi I love to show support to all of the wigmakers on YT... I know the labor and long hours it takes to work on them. I myself work on them too... Will you make more or are you done? And do you still have it? How did the tulle hold up? Did it tear easily? I practice a lot, have not made one to sell of for myself yet, but I use the tulle for practice purposes and it tears really easily.
@Pals4Fashion thank you! :D I will make more, infact I recently got a commision that I will start in april/may. Of course I still have this wig XD I made it for my Germany cosplay and I hope to wear it for a photoshoot soon :) The thin tulle got ripped in some places while I was ventilating it, but besides that it works fine. The bigger tulle did not rip at all though. Good luck with the wigulating! (awesome word I just made up)
@LAPArchichi Yes awesome word you made up. As for myself, I define myself as a wigologist... :) I will subscribe to you since you plan on making more. The Commision thing is awesome, I know you can't be none other than happy. If you are anything like me, I love the art of "wigulating" Talk to ya later and keep the wigulating vids coming (KTC) for short, which stands for Keep Them Coming!!!

I know this may sound like an odd question but can you use tulle instead of lace if no lace is sold near me?
