Weed does not make you hallucinate like that. It does make feelings stronger and makes you "feel" wierd energy fluxuations within yourself (It's impossible to understand this unless you have experienced it.) But they have never, at least for me, manifested themselves visually. I also know many other stoners who have never hallucinated visually on weed. What homer seems to have taken was either LSD, or shrooms.
