  • As a learner of the language, can anyone explain why it is "Ta NA La"?

I would have thought "it is the day" would be "Ta AN La"

  • I have lost my natural language, but now I can understand my 18 month old grandbaby boy, he speaks Irish fluently, ha ha.

  • "Codlas fein i dTigh areir Tuirseach Trein Do bhi mo Chuisle Comhra Beal Bhi acu go leir m'Inion fein Sa Buch ar buille! Ta na La! Nil na La! Ta na La! Agus i n'a Mhaidin! Nil na La! Dheara Gra! Ach Solas Ard Ata sa Ghealai! Eirigh Sios, a Fhear a Ti! Is Cur do Bhristi Mut go Tapaidh! Thainig Suas Go dTaga Thuas ." Labhraim Gaeilge na Mumhan na Buchailli Bo i gCalifornia agus Meireceanach ata me. Ni raibh me in Eireann ach tAm amhainn i gcoir cupla Seachtainnea! lol
