  • Just a small question: the latin plural of supernova is supernovAE. Why people pronounce it as "supernovi"? Same goes to nebula. I guess it must be an English accent problem and not that astronomers don't know the plural of those words! Anyway... it's kind of annoying.

  • @cristianfcao It's what happens when one pronounces "ay-eee" too quickly in American English. But we figure: as long as the listener understands...
