i have really long black eyelashes and everytime i wear eyeshadow on my top lid it just goes all over my eyelashes. how do i prevent that?

Maybe when you use your brush/applicator knock any excess amount of eyeshadow off to prevent it.

That happens to me especially when I have individual eyelashes on.
