Are you sure about this? I got that tune on the Diop Side label as well, and from what I know the riddim is built by Dougie. The producer "Martin" named on the label isn't Horace Martin, but the man behind Diop Side, as well as a record shop in Paris.

The original tune is Wayne Smith - E20, the one you're thinking of is Robert Ffrench - Don't Let Me Down on the Witty label.

Does anyone know the name of the original base riddim which you hear clearly at the beginning of rain and thunder. I heard a wicked song 20 years ago and never found it...could have been Robert Ffrench song hook lyrics were "don't let me down girl"....Wish I could track it down!! God Bless You All
