The other problem if you teach them not to bark is they sit patiently by the door but go un-noticed and end up toileting indoors. By teaching them to use a bell or other noise-making device, you're giving them a better option. Well done!
Great job, you are amazing teaching your dogs to do so many great things! If I could teach them to ring the bell every time they want to go out they would keep ringing it all day!
