  • Look up improve posture Neil King to see other videos in series(step1-pull shoulders back,2-take tension off neck,3-stabilize lower back,4-abdomen). I've asked several chiros how to improve my posture, they gave exercises that did absolutely nothing,tried a terribly uncomfortable posture-improver, didn't work.-tried constantly telling myself-pull shoulder back, slump. Noticed 1st time after I did these 4 steps that my posture was better,back&neck stronger (fyi-monkeysee is free) Thanks Dr King

  • @HarrryyT It's true, though. Your nerves go through your back (all the nerves have a connection there), and sometimes (like in scoliosis) your spine bones kind of crush the nerves, causing headaches and even indigestion. But in these cases, only exercises wouldn't help, anyways.

  • it is impossible to correct your posture when your body is in spasm. sort out the spasm first back pain klass vaki helped me with this. there is a 3 part video on youtube

  • thanks a lot for the video, it helps to not feel the need to focus on posture constatly. I high jump, and my approach was getting messed up because i had to put all my attention into standing tall, but this helped a lot

  • hi i've been doing your exercises for 2 weeks now and before i've started all my friends and family were telling me all the time to stand straight but since i've started doing them i haven't heard it once from anyone and i really see the results myself... so thank you very much for that. one question tho for how long do i have to do this exercises so that the result becomes permanent? thanks.   • Thats a good question, how long till its permanent? I would guess a few months. Then if your posture starts to suck again, then continue to do it. If the user "monkeyseevideos" himself comes on and sees this question I would hope he answer us both. Because I don't really know I was just guessing. If these exercises work for me then i owe my good posture to you :P

    In fact, they are the first 3 for me. This first vignette is merely an introductory video. Also, it's not "his" website per se. MonkeySee if the host of thousands of how-to videos, much like expertvillage.

    As much as this instructor does sound infomercial-ish at times, I think his advice and exercises are pretty good overall.
