  • Windows 7 gave her a family. I think Microsoft's making a sex software =))

  • ugh...more sexist commercials.

  • people lighten the fuck up. it's a commercial for christ's sake.

  • Comment removed

  • It's dumb-ass propaganda like this video that make my life HELL!!! Clients saying crap like, "your photography wouldn't cost so much if you did like that lady in the cloud comercial" or "why does it take more than a day to get my photos back?! I've seen it doesn't take it that long on the commercials." AAARRGGHHH!!!! DIE CLOUD DIE!!! lol

  • IT'S APRIL O'NIEL

  • Stop hating on the commercial and stop downranking it.

  • Morbo says "CLOUD COMPUTING DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY"

  • cant macs do that

  • Had 2 look this up lol, my cuzin has never seen it!!! Is that even possible!???

  • GO AMERICA!

  • whats that program she used called??

  • Hey, let's use THE CLOUD to do something we all could do 10 years ago with free software, except this time we have to pay out the ass for an Internet connection that is fast enough to handle this waste of bandwidth! And possibly even give up copyrights (and other rights) when our data is sitting on a server instead of on our hard drives! THANKS MICROSOFT!

  • @angryoldfatman Well many people dont want/need to have everything on our hardrives, thats the point with chrome OS so its not just MS.

Also i'v got an bandwidth which could this for around 8 years now, not everyone lives in some litle bullshit village in america no one ever heard of nor have evolved since 1980's, or change that clouds were around back then to!

google, apple, ubuntu they all got thier own cloud solution.

  • @aleksandersandstrom I hope the cloud rains your data all over your sewage-drinking snaggletoothed tax-destroyed Eurotrash (or derivative thereof) country.

  • @angryoldfatman yeah sure we got more taxes here in sweden, but our life expectancy is higher, while the state spends less money on it and you get all medical care!

last time I checked was your government debt of 14 000 billion dollars. which means that you are about to go bankrupt!

have fun with low taxes as long as it lasts.

  • @aleksandersandstrom Silly Euroweenie, you think you live in a real country. Make sure the last non-Muslim turns off the lights before he or she leaves. Or gets stabbed to death for Allah, whichever comes first. There's a reason why "Stockholm Syndrome" comes from your God-forsaken patch of vacuity.

  • @angryoldfatman Haha, and thats come from a person living in a christian-propaganda-state . we are the second most secular country in the world!

Stockholm syndrome is not from Sweden that's just where it got its name.

Also I want to thank you for Paying for my healt-care, schools, police, etc., as far as I know, the U.S. is a large buyer of Swedish weapons.

  • @aleksandersandstrom Get depressed and go to a euthanasia clinic.

  • @aleksandersandstrom "Stockholm Syndrome is not from Sweden that's just where it got its name"

You're too fucking stupid to breathe. Look it up dipshit. Then go pine for some fjords or something.

  • @angryoldfatman Norway got fjords not sweden. Go and take yourself a geography-class! Oh i forgot that you live in america nevermind.

  • @aleksandersandstrom As if there's some sort of difference. (There are fjords in western Sweden from what I've been told, but that ruins the insult and the whole relation to a Monty Python skit)

  • Just another good reason why Microsofts marketing team should be shot dead. I mean, does the average Joe know what "to the cloud" means? Of course they fucking don't!

  • Thumbs up if you know what movie she came out on ;)

  • What the hell windows to the cloud? What the fuck windows

  • The only thing worse than this advert is cancer or the UK version. Stop failing Microsoft

  • Judith Hoag

  • She sure is the perfect image of the mother portrayed in "American Beauty"...

  • There is so much wrong with this commercial. Windows, what the fuck?

  • Pause at 0:13, and notice that she's using a Sony monitor. Windows=Microsoft=XBOX. Sony=Playstation. Pretty Ironic if you ask me.

  • @YOWspotter1 Just because they have competetive gaming consoles? They even make Office for another OS..

  • That lady played April O'Neill in the first Ninja Turtles movie in 1990!!!!

    JUDITH HOAG!!!

  • Everytime I have an idea for writing 0:18 pops into my head.

  • Wrong, bad and misleading. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Cloud Services. A touch screen PC and Windows 7 running Live Essentials LOCALLY to mash up a family picture. Where's the "Cloud" in that? The only on-line experience is pushing the resulting piece of fakery to Facebook. These adverts are the worst piece of Cloudwashing around at the moment.

  • @ridingthecloud dont watch them then

  • This venom spewing she-beast really needs to be knocked off her 'cloud'. I can't imagine anything more insulting to say in front of your family.

  • In my day, we'd just use mild electric shocks to keep everyone in line and fish-hooks through the cheeks to keep everyone smiling. OK, so there would be screaming and some mild psychosis after the photo shoot, but I still reckon it's better than Windows 7.

  • U failed microsoft

  • Just what we need. Another "My stupid husband" commercial.

  • 0:10

  • REMOVING AND FAKING MEMORIES WITH WINDOWS LIVE

YOUR LIFE IS SHIT, SO MAKE IT BLAND

  • WHAT IS SHE DOING OUT OF THE KITCHEN

  • this probably doesnt even work you'd just get obviously out of place faces

    great family photo!!!

  • I HATE THE CLOUD!

  • Why does everything nowadays have to be so fake, fake photos that never happened, fake singers that cant sing but are autotuned to make them sound listenable, fake photoshop models that silly girls try to emulate and people that try to act like celebs.

  • nice 115 dislikes

  • So THAT'S how scammers advertise low-quality products!

  • Windows gives me the family nature never could...That sounds so bloody wrong.

  • Pardon my French, but I fucking HATE this commercial.

For a start, the whole point of a family photo is to capture a real moment. If you drastically alter it, you take away everything that was real about it, leaving only a lie.

If that wasn't bad enough, this advert (like so many) portrays the man as a weak and dysfunctional moron. It's a growing trend with quite a lot of animosity behind it. If you switched the roles of the man and woman here, there would be riots on the streets!

  • ...If she could swap in smiles to a bad photo, doesn't that mean she got atleast ONE good one?

  • Mother: I hate my family. ಠ_ಠ

  • Considering you have a tripod and everyone keeps their bodies completely still for 60 seconds while moving their faces as you take 30 pictures.

  • "Windows gives me the family nature never could"- That has to be the single most disturbing line I have ever heard. I don't care if it's supposed to be a joke... it's just wrong on so many levels...

  • are you people mad? family portraits have been staged since the invention of photography... there's very little difference in this and a trip to olan mills and everybody's looking to the left smiling... and before that, people painted portraits and good gravy that stuff wasn't reflective of reality either

  • Ah yes....wonder woman insults her family. Way to go mum!

My mother recently turned 70. Guess what? She NEVER insulted her family like this. EVER.

  • What program is this ?

  • Judith Hoag!!! April O'neal from TMNT 1990 FTW

  • That's pretty messed up how she says it gives her the family nature never could... so she's ashamed of her family and has to change their entire facial expression just so she doesn't get criticized? How pathetic, I would join the military and never see that crazy bitch again if it was my mom.

  • WHY ARE THEY ALL WEARING THE SAME CLOTHES?!?

  • the only reason i searched this is because i loved the little guitar riff at the end!

  • I prefer the British ad xD Mind you,the both of them are as shit, low and desperate as it gets... What the hell kinda message are they giving out to people here?! Morons -.-

  • does anyone have a list of the names of the people in this commericial?

  • trolling

  • She would have to be some kind of Photoshop genius to cut and paste her kids' heads onto a new photo and have it look real. They're really overselling here. Of course what do you expect from a company that claims its product can give you the family nature couldn't??

  • Shes the mom from halloween town Judith Hoag

  • aww poor dad he let his wife down :(

  • @SubscribeJohnnyTube

ps i also agree windows gives you stuff that people dont give you

  • @SubscribeJohnnyTube Nah, props to the dad for actually parenting! What the fuck was she doing? Sitting there like a prune worrying about things far less important. She needs to stop being a shallow bitch and help the dad raise their kids!

  • @sbowesuk lol right

  • I sense a divorce in the air! 1) if your kids are that disrespectful your parenting sucks, and 2) if you feel the need to create a perfect photograph of your 'perfect' family you've got some serious issues. Stepford Wives anyone??

  • Don Draper found out what Betty wanted her computer to do and made this advert!

  • those kids look a little too old to be problematic taking pictures, let alone playing with action figures.

  • The creator of this particular ad must be neutered.

  • To the cloud

  • @TruMalu4Life and marny pipers mom from halloween town and sarahs mom in i am number four and karen from sons of anarchy and angela from the ghost whisper episode drowned lives XDD OH and rebecca from salt :P Judith Hoag! XP

  • is it just me or does the boys kinda look like munro and thomas chambers O_O?

if not then who are they XDD

  • Love the shoe dangle

  • Funny that Microsoft is advertising that they don't know what the cloud is...

  • Haters gonna hate. You should actually use WL Photo Gallery, then you'd see how awesome it really is.

  • Horrendous Commercials Microsoft!

  • These are the worst commercials I've ever seen.

This woman is not Bat-Man. She shouldn't be saying stupid things like "To the cloud."

  • i just don't buy that this kind of (especially with the portrayed quality) "Photoshop" compositing can be achieved in 'Windows Live' ...and by a novice no less. :/

  • @NickDClements and on a touch screen with a finger! no way!

  • how do u chage the faces out like that?

  • Who are those adorable twin boys?

  • There's no horrible message here. It's all the same people. You people are idiots

  • @rbrbran277 sure there's a horrible message, the horrible message is that you can make a half-ass ad and companys like microsoft will pay thousands of dollars on it

  • I don't think it's that bad.

  • What program is this?....

  • @cloneman222 It's called "Photo Fuse." It's included with Windows Live Gallery 2011.

  • @SaggioD THX! I thought cloud was the program.

  • I am so impressed by the amount of smart people commenting. Seriously.

This commercial is awful. Who the fuck came up with this shit?

  • Real nice of them to perpetuate the stereotype of the type of family, he said sarcastically

  • Munro and Thomas Chambers :)

  • that's like sad :(

  • I blame facebook. If it was simply sending stuff to the grandparents, who would care? my grandparents would be all "your kids are awesome" instead, she wants to send her fam photo to her facebook friendlist of her coworker that is fucking her boss and gunning for her job. the delivery boy she had an affair with, some guy she dated in high school that friended her to masturbate to her pics, etc. good job.

  • "Windows gives me the family Nature never could."

And her hubby and kids look so dejected.

Sorry, but this commercial just makes me SAD.

  • I betcha the first time this commercial aired alot of angry moms got on their blogs to voice their two cents about ignorant this is to Windows

  • I betcha the first time this commercial aired alot of angry moms got right on their blogs to voice their two cents to Windows.

  • "Because I am ashamed of something that became out of my uterus."

  • "Windows gave me the family nature never could."

    What a bitch.

  • Finally, a photo she can share without ridicule

  • I didn't recognize April O'Neil!

  • If you can't have your family sit down for a 5 sec photo you must be fucking stupid, and that feature with the head-swapping is completely useless...

  • @NewToTheLyte A digital Dr. Jeckyll... many centuries ago this woman kept only the good looking decapitated heads in her closet and swapped them around on bodies to make them appear "perfect".

  • I wanted to knock her teeth out when she said, "To the cloud."

  • Wow, man. Cloud computing makes editing photos easier than ever! Thanks, Microsoft! By the way, your XBL subscription charge is outrageous. You don't even provide servers! What are you charging people for, patches? Do it for free! You suck!

  • @videodads, you're exactly right. I've thought the same thing for some time.

  • April O'Neil!

  • Typical use of sexism to sell... only men can screw it up and only women can do it right.. YAWNNNN such an old format, isn't it about time they made a woman look silly on an advert - use a bit of 'shock' treatment?

Or... are they scared the feminists will whine at them?

  • @videodads but when they take it the other way around... nobody complains and nobody thinks it's wrong.... riiiiiiiight!

  • @princesskatkat28 Actually quite the contrary - whenever a woman is shown in even a slightly less then favourable light, "women's groups" (aka feminists) complain in a shrill voice and do all in their power to force retractions or edits, or failing that, to highlight the depiction and bring reams of endless (negative) attention to the company in a bid to cause financial loss. Considering feminists 'claim' to be about equality, they sure do act silent when men are portrayed poorly...

  • @videodads and this issue is brought out here because the advertisment was demonstrating the humor in it?.. i saw this advertisement and i always thought of it to be funny but also creepy at the same time... but the thing is i TAKE IT AS IT IS. it's an avert. it's supposed to divert all attention to their product. the other adverts they made were so and so.. but this one is funny.. but i guess someone in the internet has to be jackass and make everyone think he's so deep and wise. pffff...

  • @princesskatkat28 Ahh the usual feminist shaming tactics come into play... "You can't take a joke.. pfffft" - well, neither can feminists. I'm fine with 'equality' - but equality goes both ways, and their silence on issues speaks volumes about their own sexism.

  • @videodads aaah and a fucking hypocrite who translates himself as a jesus wanna be in the net. i had no issues with this advert. it was funny like what it was supposed to be. and i'll take it just as an advert and not make some conspiracy theory out of it and find people to agree with me. as a matter of fact if "objectivity" is what your main goal is, then the only way it should affect a real person with a real life is to make him laugh and thats that.

  • @videodads btw not all people that doesn't agree wiith you are "feminists". most of the time, they don't over analyze shit just to have something to do.

  • I just wanna know how she switched the faces ... and the yes the message behind this ad is a MESS. But then again do they really give a rats ass about what the consumers think? If they did, they wouldn't have made the commercial the way they did.

  • ZUUUUUUUUUUUNNEEE!

  • April. Effin'. O'Neil.

  • so, the idea is that she wants a false impression of an event that never actually happened, because the appearance of the "perfect" family is more important than the actual family.

    that's stupid.

  • @noizefloor Your comment is stupid. Get the fuck over yourself

  • Comment removed

  • I missed where she implemented cloud computing?? Anybody see it?

  • @srairmand I didn't see it at all. Zoho, anyone?

  • @srairmand The cloud is the internet and her clicking the facebook share was her accessing the cloud.

  • This makes no sense. If they were moving around so much how did she get perfect pictures of the families faces with them smiling, wearing the same clothes and the same background?

  • @waffleman13 I was thinking the same thing. Unless there were other random pics taken early where she caught them smiling ... idk though.

  • To the Milf :3

  • @Dre2Dee2 ROFL

  • Mom: "Okay so we've got Jen texting [spoiled child]

Cody sticking an action figure into Hunter's ear [not funny]

    And Joe...what are you doing?"

Dad: "Trying to get the action figure out of Hunter's ear."[lame]

...(unneccessary) extreme close up [relly lame]...

Mom (lifting eyebrow): "To the cloud" [Just terrible]

    ..................

Mom: "Windows gave me the family nature never could." [Need I say more?]

  • Every time I see this commercial I want to invent a weather machine to REMOVE CLOUDS FROM THE UNIVERSE!!

  • "Ti" the cloud ?....lol.

  • Wow, she doesn't even wonder where that fancy Sony PC came from ^^

  • She's taking about their imperfections-the mom yawns once & she's shoeplaying the whole time....

  • I want to smack this smug woman in her smug face. Plus, editing photos on your computer has absolutely nothing to do with the cloud.

  • Judith Hoag!!!! I remember her as April Oneal in the Ninja Turtles

  • Im sorry I embarrassed you on facebook mom

  • TO THE CLOUD*!

*your personal information, including this photo, may remain on the internet forever in a server somewhere half-way across the world.

  • I actually vomited blood.

  • lol as if it's actually this simple

  • Hey, isn't that Judith Hoag, who played April in the first TMNT movie?

  • @TheGame2k2s Yes she is!!!

  • Did anyone else notice they edited the father's audio in this commercial? It used to be a lot louder and more harsh like "Trying to get the action figure out of Hunter's ear!!!!!" but it randomly changed.

  • hahahahaha...I rather take a Mac Mini or a Boxee Box

  • Every time I see this commercial I think of Final Fantasy. (Cloud lol) I don't even PLAY Final Fantasy, but still, TO THE CLOUD!

  • @RobinMFisher Atleast It's Better Than The Overpriced Apple Products

  • Damn people and their inability to use technical terms correctly. A cloud isn't a touchscreen, a picture editor or a robotic family. Windows, I understand you're very loser-friendly but actively dumbing down your audience is taking things a step too far.

  • windows cloud because your degenerate family need to be normalised into robotic poses and distilled personalities let us illiminate imperfections and instil more insecurities into the ones that dare to defy social conditioning and be their natural selves. now had they angled it " i havent got time to learn visual graphics editing so i use windows tools to achieve my desires effects" it would not of implied the above

  • Justin Bieder !

  • She doesn't need a cloud, she needs parenting lessons.

  • this thing freaking rock i love itt. fanaly somethong good in life

  • a message to the windows marketing department: "You were supposed to advertise windows live essentials, youve instead created an advert that confuses your audience (alienating them a bit too, see below comments) and youve called it another word for "the internet" you have reached a new level of idiocy! if i could switch every computer in my house to linux i would!"

  • A lot of pissed off poeple here...

So the lady is trynna post a nice family portrait and she edits the freakin' picture. Where the hell does her being a bad mother come from? She doesn't hate "natural" family.. she's just trynna say that Windows let her edit the picture to make it seem like everyone was smiling.

You people need to lighten up. Go out for a walk or something.

  • Excerpt: Our Head in the Clouds: A Response to Windows Cloud

“Cloud,” can you really not see how clear the beacon is flashing? If the smiles are not there to begin with, and so distinctively that you need to edit the happiness into the picture and send it out to people to prove that they’re still in your lives, and you’re happy about this?...then something is SERIOUSLY ill.

  • why do u need to go to the cloud to do that ? just use iphoto and it will be simple

  • That chick played April in TMNT

  • windows gives me the family nature never could...

how bad must a mother be to say that about her family?!

    FAIL WINDOWS

  • Cloud computing = evil, dont let them convert you.

  • This is the most ridiculous commercial. What a FAIL.

  • @RobinMFisher anddddddddd it's not even a good example of cloud computing.... double fail.

  • Nice attitude to have, wife. Hubby toss out your back issues of Cosmo because of this.

  • @jaybreak Hubby *should

  • tht kid looks like justin Bieber

  • Man i never KNEW that cloud computing could change my normal monitor into a 3,000$ SONY touch screen PC

What have I been doing all these years

  • I like this commercial and I think its funny. Its a joke, I think the other people here should lighten up a bit.

  • BOYCOTT the Cloud ! This is a poor example of depicting human life.

  • to the cloud.

  • @TheTumblrAddict to create and share ANYWHERE!

  • What a spiteful message. What kind of assholes did they get in the marketing department to come up with this?
