i like the bridge and the instrumental, but the chorus and most of the verses are crass... letitia don't have the best voice, but long live the 80s :)
is it just me, or does the music sound like its all mashed up and dont go with the beat or the words. glad i missed this one, i was born 1982 but dont quite remember this, i was more into kylie then
He was a host on children's TV for a while, and is now a musical stage actor. He's currently in 'Sweet Charity' at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London (Feb 2010)
I remember when UKTV in New Zealand was re-running early Eastenders back in 2004, this song along with "Every Loser Wins" was featured so heavily during"the Banned' storyline. Like in almost every episode for weeks on end.
This is so bad. What was it with Eastenders actors trying to sing in the 80s? Nick Berry's 'Every loser wins' is slightly better but this and Anita Dobson's 'Anyone can fall in love' are absolute shite!
Fantastic! I haven't heard this for years and I totally remember the story line which lead to this song. Once correction, if I may? In Eastenders they were not called 'The Band' because a group in real life were already using that name (maybe they still are?). But infact, Sharon and Kelvin called themselves 'The Banned' because they were banned from the Queen Vic for fusing the lights during rehearsals. lol. Thanks for posting this :o)

He's a musical theatre actor. I saw him in 'Sweet Charity' in London last year, which starred another former EastEnder, Tamzin Outhwaite...

Sounded like someone had been listening to Five Star.
Cheesy.but it doesn't half stick in your mind after a couple of plays!

Hand's up if you all secretly fancied Tish Dean in the 80's.

I clicked on this thinking it would be a laugh, but I rather like the tune it's very 80s and Letitia Dean actually has a pretty good voice I think
