Did'nt Bill Clinton state after his quadruple bypass that he was following a low fat diet? Also, I can gaurantee you that he was taking at least one statin. All of this effort to stop his condition from going back to what it was before surgery. Personally, I do not believe in the lipid hypothesis. I think more and more, people question just how healthy a low fat/high carb diet is and how healthy those statins really are. I stuck to a low fat diet for 2 years, it was the WORST I have ever felt.
