Yes, "singer" Bob Dylan's "singing" delivers to the intestines loose stool (diarrhea & dysentery); to the stomach: vomit; to the ears: a running, greenish mucopus; to the nose: a putrefactive substance reminiscent of putrefactive substances excreted, just after the death rattle, by bubonic plague victims of Scandinavia in A.D. 1516. [Are Conrad & Bonar Bain & Alvin Toffler the same guy? Like Monte Markham & Robert Lansing?]
such a fabulous story of popular music at its inception...
Where it all began..................
After the Beatles,,they became just four pop artists, the magic was never quite the same.
But there legacy is something that will live as long as pop music is played, and will outlive us all,,even those that lived through that time....
People now call them the biggest band in the world,,no,,they were far more than that, although at the time.no one knew that, this story here shows just that.
I have never seen an instrument like the one Paul is playing at 9:32. It seems to have a resonator like a Dobro or a National, but I am not aware that either company ever made a ukulele, only mandolins and guitars. Anyone know what the maker is?
I noticed watching so many Beatles videos, it seems that a bunch of times whenever the camera goes to George, he turns his head away. :( Or is it just me?
Derek very sadly died a short time after the Anthology series was released. From memory it was sometime in 1997. Knowing him and working with him for a very brief spell was an experience I'll never forget. He was a softly spoken and very gentle fount of knowledge, always willing to help and advise.
Good on Neil for insisting that the Beatles tell their own story in their own words. So neat to see Jools talk about his role-- all of them, really. Derek, Neil-- so neat. :)
I always thought that I knew a lot about the band but I am really greatful for the anthology. It was done just the way it should have been and it took me deeper into the Beatles than I had ever hoped for.

The Beatles changed the landscape of music and quite literally allowing new music styles and musicians to express themselves! A paradigm shift!

09:40 yo imagino a John recostado del banco sonriendo como en Magical mistery tour.
I imagine to John lying in the bench smiling as in Magical Mystery Tour.

This is awesome. But the sad fact that John wasn't there sometimes makes it harder to watch.

Whose cousin gets to translate these DVDs? Refer is not "Referencia" but slang for Marijuana.
payeyo 3 years ago 12
haha whose cousin gets to translate your brain? Reefer, which George said, was slang for marijuana as well. He was asking people for reefer.

So I missed an e. Big deal! You dont have to be rude.
payeyo 2 years ago 5
@HEFERNAN74 or a reference to where he could find a reefer. Or something. (ok, that was a joke if it ever gets lost in translation)
