Pikmin 2 is about when Olimar gets back to his home planet, the company that he works for gets bankrupted. Forgein items from the planet of the pikmin cost a lot of money in Olimar's planet. So, Olimar's boss sends him to the planet of the pikmin with an assaintent "Louie" to payoff the company's dept, with the help of the pikmin.
