@HolySasquatchTurd Hi David. It was David, wasn't it. Long time no see. I thought you already read Joker. If you like Philip Marlowe-like detective stories with a mild irony, I can recommend Johnny Double and Filthy Rich. Especially Johnny Double.
They need until mid 2011 to publish the last issues of 100 Bulletts here in Germany. Jeeze, it sometimes sucks to live here.
@DrGull1888 Aw so close, Andreas! It's Danny! LoL. Close though! That sux about 100 Bullets for you over there damn. I just picked up the last volume of the series. This series is just so good. It was a very big re-read value. I'll put Johnny Double on top of my to read list. I've been away from youtube for a while. Good hearing from you again.
@HolySasquatchTurd Oh it's Danny. My second shot would have been Ryan. Not so close I presume. Well, I started to collect 100 Bulletts in German and I want to complete it in German. If I filled the gaps with the English original, I'd feel this need to complete the whole collection in German and in English. I understand your absence. Your real life is far more important than this here but it's good to hear from you again, too. Read anything interesting lately?
@DrGull1888 Yeah, real life is more important but wait a minute, isn't this real life right now? lol. I know real life isn't important for a lot of people (ie: ppl glued to websites all the time). Lately, I've been mostly reading 100 Bullets and it's just so great. It has like... no flaws. It's just brilliant. Love it. Other than that I read the Knightfall Saga and that was awesome. Definitely one of the best Batman stories out there. Chuck Dixon and Doug Meonch are terrific writers.
@HolySasquatchTurd Yes, Knightfall is great. I must say I like the beginning best, when Bane systematically starts to destroy the dark knight. Lately I read the complete Man of Steel saga. It is for Superman what Year One and Dark Knight Returns are for Batman. And I reread some of my crossovers and elseworlds for my last videos.
Me too. It sounds indeed like the next Bond title. I chose it because I found it fits well to all the Raymond Chandler and Mickey Spillane quotes, Azzarello uses in his comic books.
i did read some issues, but it didnt hook me like other vertigo comics. What ive been reading is unknown soldier thats pretty awsome too, u should try it
Never heard of Brian Azarello, i´m trully enjying soke of the isues you show here, i really loved Joker and Lex Luthor:Man of Steel... thanks for broaden my "comic book" knowledge, in the good sense of it since i don´t read regular comic books anymore hehehe, i only read graphic novels

100 Bullets was awesome.
I like how you didn't go into detail with the real plot.

@Asalieri Thank you. I don't want to be responsible for spoilers.
DrGull1888 9 months ago
@DrGull1888 right, but what you described is basically the first 5 volumes of 100 bullets. Still, completely in agreement with the list, man.
Azzarello is the man.

Damn! I gotta get myself those Hellblazer comics
kurono1999 1 year ago
@kurono1999 Actually you could buy every Hellblazer issue by Azzarello. He didn't write a bad one and all are well to read.

100 Bullets... man, I love that title. I need to check out Johnny Double. I'm also thinking about Filthy Rich oh, and Joker.

Brian Azzarello should reboot the batman series in HIS format thats what Joker made me realize
He just needs to start from the beggninng of Bruce waynes life all the way to the end (and re-do Final Crisis!)
Would that not be the most amazing thing?
DrScruffy 1 year ago
@DrScruffy Agreed. By the way I haven't read Final Crisis but I hear it's retarded.
DrGull1888 1 year ago
@DrGull1888 it is dude which sucks because it would have been such an epic end to epic hero (batman)
I litteraly have no idea what they were thinking when they wrote that

hell yeah 100 bullets one of the best comics ever read. Liked it more than Y the last man and Preacher.

I haven't read Y the last Man yet but Preacher and 100 Bulletts are great pieces of work. What about The Boys?

I read Unknown Soldier. It's well written but it somehow lacks the dark humor of Garth Ennis.

Thanks a lot. Yes, Man of Steel is great. The best villains are those who believe to do good.

Then, the video has fulfilled it's purpose. By the way, don't forget to rate, hehehe....
When I was younger I bought a lot of monthly issues, but now I wait until they appear as paper bags. Looks more representative in a shelf. :-)
